Join us for our SUP Improver Session, a perfect next step for those who have tried paddleboarding and are eager to enhance their skills. 1.5 hours, this session on the Thames focuses on refining your techniques, ensuring you get the most out of your paddleboarding.
We will tailor instruction to your individual paddling goals, but we tend to cover the following in our improver sessions:
The session begins with land-based skills at our paddle base, tailored to the group's current abilities.
You'll then embark on a water journey, integrating these skills with practical river safety knowledge.
This hands-on approach ensures a comprehensive learning experience, and focuses on hands-on on-water practice, and a session tailored to your paddling goals.
We meet at The Albany Pub, Queens Rd, Thames Ditton, KT7 0QY, before heading to the beautiful stretch of the River Thames for our session.
We ask that you please park responsibly in the local area. There is parking available at The Albany Pub, and if you use it, the team would love to welcome you in afterward for a post-paddle recovery drink. The team are also happy for you to access toilets through the pub, and would be appreciative if you buy a beverage by way of thank you for using their facilities.
