Spend a full day sailing the Caribbean Sea from Cancún to Isla Mujeres aboard a shared catamaran. Snorkel at El Meco Reef, relax at Playa Norte and enjoy an international buffet with open bar access at a beach club. This eight-hour experience combines sailing, swimming and free time on the island in one structured itinerary.
The day begins either with hotel pick-up (if selected) or arrival at the departure marina in Cancún. After boarding the catamaran, you’ll set sail across the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea towards Isla Mujeres. The first stop is El Meco Reef, where snorkelling equipment is provided. Guests enter the water under crew supervision to explore coral formations and tropical fish typical of the region. A light snack is served after the snorkelling session.
The catamaran then continues towards Isla Mujeres, stopping near Playa Norte. Known for its shallow, calm waters, this beach offers time to swim or relax along the shoreline. You’ll then head to a beach club on the island, where an international buffet is served along with access to the open bar, including rum, tequila, whisky, soda and bottled water.
There is also free time to explore Isla Mujeres independently. You can walk through the town’s central streets, browse local shops or simply enjoy the waterfront atmosphere. In the afternoon, you’ll sail back towards Cancún, with time to relax onboard before arrival at the marina and return transfers if booked.
Cancún is located on Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula and is known for its Caribbean coastline and coral reef systems. Departures take place from the marina area in Cancún, with optional hotel pick-up available from Cancún, Playa del Carmen, Puerto Morelos, Costa Mujeres, Tulum, Akumal, Puerto Aventuras and Playacar.
Isla Mujeres lies just off the coast of Cancún and is accessible by boat in under an hour. Playa Norte is one of the island’s most visited beaches due to its shallow, clear water. El Meco Reef is part of the wider Mesoamerican Reef system, offering snorkelling opportunities in a marine environment typical of the Caribbean.
No prior sailing or snorkelling experience is required. Guests should be comfortable boarding a catamaran and entering the water for snorkelling. Crew members provide equipment and safety guidance before the swim stop.
The listing contains conflicting accessibility information, stating both wheelchair accessible and not wheelchair accessible. Guests requiring step-free access should confirm directly before booking. Infants must sit on an adult’s lap, and infant seats are unavailable. The experience is not recommended for travellers with back problems, heart conditions or for those who are pregnant.
Operating across 12 destinations and having welcomed over 50,000 travellers, this team specialises in structured boat experiences that combine sightseeing, swim stops and hospitality. Routes are designed to cover key highlights while maintaining a clear schedule throughout the day.
