Established in 2015, we are a North Wales-based adventure company founded and operated by experienced adventure instructors. Since our inception, we have dedicated ourselves to delivering exhilarating experiences to all who venture our way.
Initially focusing on small paddlesports courses, we have expanded over the years to become one of the largest outdoor centres in the region, offering an extensive range of outdoor and indoor activities. With our wealth of experience and passion for adventure, we are committed to providing safe, enjoyable, and memorable experiences for all our visitors.
This session is run entirely on our site, we own the riverbanks for a 300-metre stretch.
Occasionally due to high river levels we may run this session elsewhere, you will be informed of everything by your instructor.
The session is 2 hours long which accounts for time getting changed, kitted up and safety briefings.
This is suitable for anyone aged 7 or over. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
We can organise sessions for groups of children but it helps to know in advance so we can make special provisions.
All of our equipment is chosen to be fit for purpose and is safety checked. You may bring your own equipment with you, but using it will be at the instructor’s discretion.
Yes. Very wet. It is not the aim of the session to fall out or for the raft to flip over, but it may happen.
You will be given instructions on what to do if this does happen and our instructors will get sorted and rafting again right away.
Not at all, your buoyancy aid has more than enough floatation and our instructors will help at all times.
We sell waterproof phone cases which are suitable to keep your phone safe and dry. Your instructor may take some photos if they have the opportunity.

Incredible experience for my friend and I with Hugh our instructor!
Elinor was great, she was professional and friendly, she explained everything very clearly including safety and paddling technique and demonstrated getting in and out of the canoe. She was then a patient and attentive chaperone for our group of novices.
We had a fantastic time rowing the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct with TNR and Ben our guide was brilliant. This was quite an achievement for me as I’m terrified of heights but so glad i did it.
We all had a great time canoeing, the guide was helpful and knowledgable, we had lovely weather, I’d recommend
Great job done by Rich and Rachel on outdoor first aider course. Challenging and informative, presented in engaging and often fun way
Very nice and lovely. A bit of a short track up and down the bridge. Beautiful surroundings. A once in a lifetime experience
Our instructor was really good, he took us through the basics of operating the kayak, how to safely navigate the canal. We weren’t rushed, we were able to take our time and safely enjoy ourselves. The aqueduct was great, fantastic views.
