Itinerary
Friday Evening: Welcome to the Adventure
Our weekend kicks off with a gathering at 6pm at our Newquay headquarters. After friendly introductions and outlining the weekend's agenda, we'll whisk you away to our secluded wild camping spot. If you're arriving by public transport, worry not—we can coordinate a lift share for you!
Once at camp, your guides will give you the grand tour. You'll settle into your cosy bell tent—complete with an air bed—before diving into an evening full of woodland games. Our camp comes equipped with an axe-throwing area and a communal fire pit where you can share stories and designate the weekend’s camp chef.
Saturday: Surf, Cliff, Repeat!
The morning will start with fresh coffee and a breakfast of cereals and fruits at camp.
The order of activities are dependent on weather and sea conditions but expect surfing and coasteering, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
Midday, you'll have leisure time to grab a bite, explore Newquay’s surf shops, or relax at our base. Just ask for local recommendations!
In the day, you will have a two-hour surf lesson where our expert surfing coaches are ready to help, whether it's your first time on a surfboard or you're looking to refine your skills.
Your second activity will be coasteering, another two-hour treat! Meet ‘the Gazzle,’ our favorite coasteering spot. Don’t fret if you’re new to it; our guides will ensure you're well-prepared for a fantastic time.
On Saturday evening, we'll wrap up your adventure-filled day and you'll have the chance to pick up some BBQ essentials from a nearby supermarket before we head back to camp. Again, for those without a car, we’ve got your lift-share covered.
Engage in axe-throwing competitions, balance games, or fire-making before ending your night with a barbeque and roasting marshmallows around the campfire.
Sunday: One Last Splash
The day starts with another tasty breakfast and warming coffee. We’ll then head back to Newquay to catch some more waves. Your coaches will offer personalised tips and goals during your final surf session, and you will have the opportunity to refine the techniques you picked up the day before.
Come 1pm, you'll be all surfed out and ready to bid your new friends farewell.
Location
Our wild camp is nestled in a private woodland on a working dairy farm in the heart of Cornwall. We will meet at our headquarters right in the heart of Newquay. Surfing lessons will take place on Towan or Fistral Beach depending on tides and conditions, and coasteering will take place on the Gazzle. Don't worry about getting from place to place if you don't have your own transportation, we can organise lift shares!
