The hire centre sits directly within Newquay Harbour, giving quick access to sheltered beginner-friendly water as well as nearby coastal paddling routes. Towan Beach is only a short walk away, while Fistral Beach and other areas can be reached more easily by confident paddlers.
The harbour environment creates an approachable launch point for paddleboarding while still offering direct access to scenic coastal areas nearby.
SUP hire is intended for participants who already feel confident paddleboarding independently in suitable conditions. Basic paddling ability and self-rescue knowledge are important before hiring equipment.
Participants hiring equipment must be aged 18 or over and provide photo ID, a credit card and a fully charged mobile phone at collection.
Using years of watersports and coastal safety experience, the team provides quality paddleboarding equipment alongside practical local guidance to help visitors enjoy Newquay’s coastline responsibly. Safety information, wildlife guidance and harbour maps are all included during collection.

SUP hire is intended for people who already feel comfortable paddleboarding independently. Beginners are recommended to complete a lesson first before hiring equipment alone.
Lessons are available separately and can help build confidence before exploring independently.
SUP boards can be hired for 1 hour, 3 hours or until 5pm depending on your plans and availability.
Longer hires and multi-day bookings may also be available by arrangement.
Yes, buoyancy aids and any required safety equipment are included with all SUP hires.
