RACHAEL BUCKNILL
I think my granddaughter & partner found the return paddle quite hard against the stream but Rob their guide was really kind & understanding. Thank you Rob!
We partner with Rewilding Britain to help protect our natural spaces for future adventures.

Expect a guided sea kayak excursion that promises a blend of adventure and peacefulness along the gorgeous Devon coastline. Your journey begins with a comprehensive safety briefing and kayak familiarisation led by our experienced guides.
Once equipped, paddle out into the blue waters, exploring secluded coves, towering cliffs, and wildlife-rich islands. Our itineraries are flexible, ensuring each trip caters to the group’s interests and abilities.
Set against the scenic backdrop of Dartmouth, our starting point at Coronation Dinghy Park offers easy access to the diverse marine environments of South Devon. From here, you'll venture on a beautiful route that showcases the region's natural wonder and marine life.
No prior kayaking experience is necessary. Participants should be comfortable around water and prepared for a moderate level of physical activity.
At our centre in Dartmouth, founded by Ben in 2011, we pride ourselves on offering premier sea kayaking experiences. With a team of over 15 expert coaches and a diverse fleet of 40+ sea kayaks, we ensure a safe and enjoyable adventure for all skill levels.
Whether you're a novice or seasoned paddler, our personalised approach guarantees a memorable outing amidst Devon's amazing coastal scenery.
Children aged 11 and younger typically use double kayaks with an adult.
Exceptions can be made for taller or fitter children to paddle single kayaks, subject to guide approval.
Dress in comfortable, weather-appropriate attire that can get wet. Avoid jeans; instead, opt for quick-drying clothing and bring layers for warmth.
Trips may be rescheduled or cancelled due to adverse weather conditions. We prioritise safety and will provide alternative options when possible.
YES! Pretty much everyone who gets into one of our Sea Kayaks is amazed at how easy it is. They are stable and they all have a retractable fin at the back so they track naturally in a straight line.
Even the least fit will glide along faster than walking speed with about the same amount of effort as riding a bike on the flat. Our super stable double kayaks also have a rudder at the back to make steering even easier.
What experience do I need?
You don’t need any experience at all, you don’t even need to be the sporty type or be able to swim.
In our comfortable, stable kayaks and under the expert guidance of our coaches you will quickly relax and enjoy your trip. For those who consider themselves to be fit and adventurous there is endless possibilities for excitement.
We keep our group sizes small with a minimum of 2 and maximum of 6 people per instructor. If you are a larger group or 2 families who want to kayak together, that is no problem at all; you will simply have multiple instructors looking after you on the water.
If you would like to book a group of more than 6 people just send us a message via the adventuro chat below. They'll be happy to help!

We had a great time. The instructor made us feel constantly reassured that we were in good hands. He was also really knowledgeable about the area and able to introduce us to great opportunities to explore various caves and coves during our training.
