Leave the resort lights behind for an evening in the Sinai Desert combining an ATV ride, Bedouin hospitality, dinner, and stargazing. We pick you up from your Sharm El Sheikh hotel and take you to the desert, where the adventure begins with a safety briefing before you follow your guide across the sandy tracks by quad bike.
Duration: About 5 hours
Group size: 1 to 15 guests
Pickup: Hotel pickup in the Sharm El Sheikh area is included
Format: ATV quad ride, Bedouin camp, dinner, and guided stargazing
The experience begins with a guided ATV ride through the Sinai Desert. After a short safety briefing, follow your guide across open sandy tracks surrounded by rugged desert mountains. The pace is managed by the guide so the group can stay together and enjoy the changing scenery.
As evening approaches, continue to a Bedouin camp where the atmosphere becomes quieter and more relaxed. Settle in and enjoy a traditional Bedouin-style dinner while experiencing the desert after sunset.
Once darkness falls, move away from the brighter camp lights for the stargazing part of the evening. An astronomy guide introduces you to the night sky and points out visible stars and celestial objects. Look through a telescope when viewing conditions allow and experience the clear desert sky away from the lights of Sharm El Sheikh.
After the stargazing session, begin the return journey and transfer back to your hotel.
The activity takes place in the Sinai Desert outside Sharm El Sheikh, where sandy tracks, rocky mountains, and open landscapes replace the busy resort area.
Hotel pickup and return within the designated Sharm El Sheikh area are included. The desert setting also provides darker surroundings for observing the night sky after sunset.
No previous ATV or stargazing experience is required. Before riding, the team provides instructions on operating the quad and following the desert convoy safely.
Comfortable clothing and closed shoes are recommended for the desert. Temperatures can become cooler after sunset, so bringing an extra layer is useful, particularly during the cooler months.
This experience combines several sides of the Sinai Desert in one evening. Ride an ATV across desert tracks, spend time at a Bedouin camp, enjoy dinner, and finish the evening exploring the night sky through a telescope.
Hotel pickup and return are included, and guides accompany the different stages of the experience, making it an easy way to combine desert adventure, local atmosphere, and stargazing during your stay in Sharm El Sheikh.
The outing is set at about three hours from collection to the end of the desert loop. That window covers hotel pickup in Sharm El Sheikh, the briefing, the ATV section, the camel ride, and time to get you moving back toward the resort strip.
Exact clock times shift a little with traffic and how quickly the group is ready at the staging area. Allow the full three hours in your afternoon plan and keep the evening after it loosely free until you are back at the hotel.
Yes. Hotel pickup in the Sharm El Sheikh area is included. You will be given a collection window so you can wait in reception or at the agreed hotel point with closed shoes and sun protection ready.
Stay in the pickup area until the crew arrive, because desert staging points are not walkable from most hotels. If your stay is outside the usual hotel zone, say so when you enquire so the team can confirm whether collection still applies.
No previous ATV experience is required. The crew give a short safety briefing and a helmet before you start, and you follow a guided route rather than choosing your own line through the dunes.
If you would rather not drive, say so at the staging area. Passenger places on a machine are often possible when the group layout allows it. Listen to the briefing, keep a sensible pace, and stay with the guide for the whole loop.
Yes. After the ATV section you stop for a camel ride, which is a slower look at the same desert from a higher seat. It is part of this three-hour format, not an optional extra you have to arrange on the sand.
Handlers help you on and off. The animal walks a short, known path rather than a long trek. If you would rather skip the camel and wait with the group, tell the guide at the stop so they can keep you comfortable while others ride.
Wear closed shoes, comfortable clothes that cover your shoulders, and sun protection. A light layer is useful for the return, because desert air cools once the sun drops. Sunglasses help with glare off pale sand.
Avoid loose scarves that can catch on the ATV, and skip flip-flops around engines and camel steps. Bring a buff if you want to keep dust off your face. Leave valuables you do not need in the hotel safe.
This outing runs for groups of 1 to 15 guests. You may share the staging area and the desert track with other travellers on the same departure, which keeps the briefing and the loop moving as one unit.
Smaller private-feeling groups still follow the same three-hour plan. If you are travelling as a family, child places are available, and the crew will say who can drive and who should ride as a passenger once they see the group.
Child and infant places are available on this outing, so families can join the same departure. Who is allowed to drive an ATV is decided on the day from height, confidence, and how the machines are set up.
Younger children usually ride as passengers or spend more time on the camel section. Bring sun protection and closed shoes for them too. If you are unsure, ask before you travel so the crew can talk through your ages.
Desert safaris are only mildly affected by weather, but strong wind, sand, or unusual heat can change how the loop feels. The crew may shorten a section, hold at the staging area, or move the start slightly to keep the group safe.
You will be told as early as practical if the plan has to change. Wear a layer you can add or remove, and treat the desert as an outdoor setting rather than a climate-controlled ride. The aim is still the ATV loop and camel stop when conditions allow.
No. This is a three-hour desert loop with an ATV section and a camel ride, timed toward late light. Meals, drinks beyond anything handed out at a stop, and evening entertainment are not part of this format.
If you want dinner after you return, plan that yourself at the hotel or in town. Choose this outing for the short safari itself so the afternoon stays simple and you are not expecting a long night in the desert.
The timing is aimed at late light so the dunes and rock pick up warmer colour, which is why this three-hour loop is often run in the afternoon. Clear skies are common in Sharm El Sheikh, but exact sunset colour depends on haze, cloud and the clock.
Treat a full sunset as likely rather than guaranteed. Even without a dramatic sky you still get the ATV loop and the camel ride. Bring a camera if you want it, and keep a hand free on the machine when you are moving.
