Experience Newquay’s coastline like never before with a Private Super SUP Tour. Paddle with your family, friends, or partner on a giant inflatable board, taking full control of your route, pace, and activities. This private session combines exploration, games, and wildlife spotting for a personalised two-hour adventure suitable for all ages.
Your experience starts at the centre, where you’ll be kitted out in a Rip Curl wetsuit, buoyancy aid, helmet, and paddle in heated changing rooms. After storing valuables securely, your instructor will guide you down a scenic rock path to one of Newquay’s semi-secret coves. Once there, you’ll launch your giant Super SUP and learn fundamental paddling skills, including launching, landing, balance, and steering.
On the water, the tour is fully tailored to your group’s preferences. Explore secret coves, navigate ancient smugglers’ caves, or simply cruise along the coastline, spotting seals, seabirds, and other marine life along the way. The private setting allows you to pause for fun SUP games, wildlife observation, or additional practice of your paddling skills.
As you progress, you’ll have opportunities to test your balance and coordination on moving waters, negotiate small swells, and enjoy playful activities such as SUP Sumo, King of the SUP, or Drunken Sailor. Your instructor ensures everyone stays safe while offering tips to improve technique and maximise enjoyment.
The Private Super SUP Tour takes place around Newquay’s scenic coastline, including Towan Headland, Dead Man’s Cove, and the surrounding bays. This area features clear waters, interesting rock formations, hidden caves, and lush wildlife habitats, making it ideal for paddling and exploration.
Launch points are tucked away in semi-secret coves, providing a private and sheltered start to your adventure. Along the route, you’ll encounter seal colonies, rock pools teeming with marine life, and dramatic coastal cliffs, offering both educational and fun experiences on the water.
No prior experience is needed to enjoy this activity. The session is designed for all ages and abilities, with instructors providing guidance throughout.
Participants should be comfortable in the water and able to follow basic safety instructions. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
The centre is purpose-built for water-based activities, with heated changing rooms, hot showers, secure storage, and high-quality equipment. Instructors prioritise personal guidance, safety, and fun for every participant, ensuring a memorable experience.
