Atlas slopes, Agafay ground and Lalla Takerkoust Lake unfold beneath you on a tandem paragliding taster from Marrakesh, with hotel collection included. A certified pilot takes the wing: you run a few steps at take-off, then sit in the harness for views across peaks, desert edge and water.
The wing fills above an Atlas slope and a few running steps lift you into clean mountain air, with peaks, desert edge and the blue sheet of Lalla Takerkoust Lake spreading beneath the harness. Suspended in tandem with your pilot, the world below becomes a slow panorama of ridges, pale stone and water catching the sun.
Flight time has a dreamlike stillness between take-off and landing, with only the whisper of fabric and the shift of shadow across the valley. When your feet touch ground again, the adrenaline fades into a quiet satisfaction, as if you have seen Marrakesh's hinterland from an angle very few visitors ever reach.
Take-off uses Atlas ground reached from Marrakesh, with the lake and Agafay edge in the wider view rather than a city-centre hop. Treat the pin as a guided tandem site rather than a self-drive map mark. Lines in the air change with wind.
Collection covers hotels in the Marrakesh area. Be ready in the window you are given because a late guest can miss a clean wind cycle. Distances between riads and the slope mean pickup times can stretch. The meeting point is hotel collection rather than a self-drive take-off pin, unless you have arranged something else when you confirm.
No previous paragliding is required. You should be happy to run a few steps, sit in a tandem harness, and land with the pilot. Mention children, infants and animals when you confirm rather than assuming every age or pet will fit a harness. Infants sit on laps on the transfer, which is a poor match for a tandem wing.
Wear closed shoes with grip, clothes you can run in, and sun protection. Eat before pickup because lunch is not included. You do not need your own wing. Follow the crew at all times on the slope. Pricing is for adults, so confirm if a younger guest can fly.
Hotel collection and a tandem taster with a certified pilot make this a simple first flight if you are staying in Marrakesh and want Atlas, lake and desert-edge views without learning to fly solo. The crew brief you on the slope and fly only when the wind allows.
If conditions are poor, they can delay or call the slot rather than forcing a wing into the wrong cycle. That is a better outcome than sitting on a hot slope with no air. You will be told as early as they can once the take-off is judged.
We'll collect you from your Marrakesh hotel and takes you toward the Atlas take-off. Be ready in the pickup window with closed shoes, clothes you can run in and sun protection. Give your hotel name when you book so they can find the right gate.
The crew brief you on the harness, then you take off tandem with a certified pilot. Views are described toward Atlas slopes, Agafay edge and Lalla Takerkoust Lake when the wind allows. Follow the run, sit when told, and expect a landing that can be brisk.
After landing you transfer back to your Marrakesh hotel. Keep a little extra time either side of the five-hour window so a wind hold does not squeeze the rest of the day.
Yes. Collection from hotels in the Marrakesh area is part of this outing. Give your hotel name when you book so the driver can find the right gate, and be ready in the window you are given because the road toward the Atlas and the lake can slow the van.
A return to your hotel after the flight is part of the same transfer. Arriving late at reception cuts into time at the take-off because the whole window is about five hours including the drive, and wind will not wait.
The whole outing is about five hours including hotel collection, briefing, the tandem flight and the drive back. Time in the air sits inside that window and can shift with wind, cloud and how long the crew wait for a clean cycle.
Keep the morning or afternoon free. Treat the flight as a tandem taster rather than a timed hour you can clock.
No previous paragliding is required. You fly tandem with a certified pilot. You should still be happy to run a few steps at take-off, sit in the harness, and land on your feet with the pilot.
Follow the crew on when to run and when to sit. This is a taster flight, not a solo lesson. Closed shoes with grip matter more than fashion trainers with no tread.
Mention ages when you confirm so the crew can advise who can fly. Infants sit on laps on the transfer, which is a poor match for a tandem harness.
A take-off slope is also a poor match for an animal. Say if you hope to bring a pet rather than arriving with one unannounced. Pricing is for adults, so confirm child places in the air rather than assuming them.
Wear closed shoes with grip, clothes you can run in, and layers for a cooler slope. Shorts and flip-flops are a poor match for a harness and for a dusty landing. A light long sleeve helps with sun once you are in the air.
Bring sunglasses that will stay on, sunscreen and water for the drive. You do not need your own wing or harness. Leave loose scarves that could catch, and keep phones on a strap if the crew allow them in the air.
The flight needs a workable wind, a clear enough sky, and a crew who judge the slope safe. The outing requires good conditions. If the wind is wrong, the flight may delay or not run that slot.
Have a loose plan for the rest of the day so a weather hold does not wreck the whole morning. You will be told as early as they can once conditions are clear. A tandem slot cannot simply move to a still, hot noon if the wind has gone.
Views look toward the Atlas Mountains, the Agafay plateau and Lalla Takerkoust Lake. Exact lines change with wind, so treat those as the landscape you fly over rather than a guaranteed photo of each landmark on every flight.
Follow the pilot on where you look and when it is safe to hold a camera. Do not expect a sightseeing circuit with named stops on the ground. The take-off is a slope near those features, reached from Marrakesh.
Professional GoPro footage of the flight is typically part of the outing. Ask at briefing how you receive the clip. Extra stills or a longer edit may sit outside that, so do not assume a studio film.
If you want your own phone shots, ask the pilot before take-off whether a strapped phone is allowed. Hands stay on the harness when they tell you to.
The outing is for one to fifteen guests. Smaller groups are common, but you should be ready to share the transfer and the wait at take-off with other booked flyers rather than assuming a private slope for two.
Book for everyone who will fly. Each guest who wants air time needs a place. Mention who will only watch from the ground so the crew are not waiting on an extra tandem.
Lunch is not included. Eat before you leave the hotel if you will be out over a meal time. Extra drinks and snacks are your own to buy.
The five-hour window is for collection, briefing, the flight and the return. Do not plan a restaurant sitting at the lake unless you have arranged something separately when you confirm.
