Tandem silk over Pokhara carries you for 20 to 30 minutes above Phewa Lake and the valley, with an experienced pilot on the wing. We'll collect you from your Pokhara hotel and drive you to the Sarangkot launch. Harness, helmet, and photos of the flight travel with you from take-off to the landing by the lake.
We'll collect you from your Pokhara hotel, usually on Lakeside, and drive up to the Sarangkot launch. At the hill you'll meet the tandem pilot, fit a harness and helmet, and hear the take-off and landing calls.
When the wind is right you'll run a few steps and the wing will lift you off the grass. In the air the pilot works the thermals over Toripani hill. You'll sit in the harness and look down on Pokhara, Phewa Lake, and the Annapurna skyline when the morning is clear.
The landing is on open ground near the lake. Keep the helmet on until the pilot says you are clear of the lines, then we'll drive you back to your hotel. Photos and video of the flight come with you after you land.
Phewa Lake sits under the Sarangkot ridge and gives the pilots a wide, clear landing and a reference in the air. Pokhara sits under the Annapurna wall, with a short drive from Lakeside hotels to the launch.
You'll take off on the ridge and finish on the shore, not back on the same hill. The lake and the valley sit in view for most of the 20 to 30 minutes you spend on the wing.
You do not need paragliding experience. You should be able to run a few steps at take-off, sit in a tandem harness, and follow the pilot's instructions.
The minimum age is 18. Bring a passport and wear trousers and closed shoes. Tell us about any neck, back, or heart condition before you come. The flight needs a safe wind.
Tandem pilots meet you after a hotel pickup from Lakeside, and they read the morning weather before anyone leaves the grass. Our team has been sending guests up this ridge from a Lazimpat base for more than two decades, with English-speaking guides handling the drive and the kit.
Harness, helmet, and in-flight photos are part of the day. If the wind is wrong, we'll hold the launch rather than force a flight, and we'll move you to a later morning when the hill is quiet again.

The flight itself is 20 to 30 minutes, from take-off at Sarangkot to the landing near Phewa Lake. Pickup, the drive up the hill, the brief, and the return to your hotel sit around that time in the air.
Your tandem pilot decides the exact launch window from the day's weather. We'll confirm the hotel pickup time the evening before.

The pilot uses the day's weather report before anyone leaves the ground. If the wind or cloud is unsafe, the flight waits or moves to a new slot.
You can cancel up to 24 hours before the activity for a full refund under the Flexible policy. If we stop the flight on the hill, we'll talk through a new time with you.
Yes. Still photos and video of your flight are part of the booking. You'll receive them after you land.
You can also carry a small camera on a wrist strap if the pilot is happy with it. Loose phones in a pocket are a poor idea at launch.
Wear comfortable trousers and closed shoes you can run in. Bring a light layer, sun protection, and your passport.
Leave long scarves and loose jewellery at the hotel. The harness goes over your clothes, and the helmet is fitted at the launch.
