This tandem paragliding experience offers a clear aerial view of the Pyrenees from a 1000-metre launch, suitable for both first-time flyers and those returning for a new perspective. The full activity lasts around one hour, including transport to the take-off site and landing return.

Location: Panticosa (with flight zones near Formigal, Biescas and Jaca depending on conditions)
Experience level: No experience required
Season: Year-round

The experience begins with a meeting in Panticosa before travelling with your pilot to one of several take-off areas used across the Tena Valley. The specific location—Panticosa, Formigal, Biescas or areas near Jaca—is chosen according to the day’s conditions to ensure a safe and enjoyable flight. At the top, the pilot explains the simple take-off procedure, fits your harness and conducts the final pre-flight checks.
Take-off requires only a few steady steps before the wing lifts you into the air. Once seated, you will feel securely supported while the pilot manages direction, altitude and air movement. The flight lasts 10–15 minutes depending on thermals and weather patterns, giving you uninterrupted views of peaks, lakes and glacial valleys. Some flights offer smooth, steady gliding, while others may allow gentle turns or controlled manoeuvres, depending on your preferences.
Landing is smooth and supervised entirely by the pilot. After touching down, you will receive the included 360° video footage. The experience is suitable for individuals, groups and families, and can operate throughout the year as long as local conditions are appropriate.
The Tena Valley offers some of the most reliable and visually varied paragliding locations in northern Spain. Take-off points around Panticosa, Formigal and Biescas provide different flying profiles, from higher ridges with strong thermal potential to softer take-off slopes ideal for beginners. These areas offer excellent visibility and a wide range of safe landing fields.
Flights may also operate near Jaca when conditions favour that part of the valley. The entire region is known for its mix of high peaks, deep valleys and broad open spaces, making it well suited to both relaxing scenic flights and more dynamic aerial experiences.
You do not need any previous flying experience. The pilot handles take-off, flight control and landing, ensuring stability and ease throughout the activity. You only need to follow a few basic instructions before take-off and remain securely seated during the flight.
Outdoor clothing appropriate for the season is recommended, including a windproof layer and sturdy footwear. Age and weight requirements may apply for safety reasons and will be confirmed during booking. Weather is an essential factor in paragliding, so flights may be rescheduled if conditions change.
