The PADI Master Scuba Diver course represents the highest non-professional level in recreational diving — a recognition of experience, skill, and dedication. It’s designed for divers who want to push their abilities further through a mix of specialty training and real-world diving experience. With expert guidance and varied dive sites, you’ll build confidence and mastery across a wide range of underwater environments.
This advanced-level programme combines five PADI Specialty Diver certifications of your choice with guided practice designed to strengthen your skills in different conditions. Options include Deep Diver, Enriched Air (Nitrox), Drysuit Diver, Search and Recovery, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Underwater Navigation, and Night Diver. You’ll complete at least 10 dives, gaining tailored feedback from your instructor to fine-tune your technique and enhance efficiency underwater.
Training takes place from Littlehampton Marina, offering easy access to nearby coastal dive sites such as Bognor Reef, Selsey, and the Far Mulberry wreck. Each site presents unique challenges and opportunities — from shallow reef navigation to deeper wreck exploration — allowing you to apply and develop your specialty skills in realistic settings.
By the end of the course, you’ll have the experience and confidence to dive in a wide range of conditions and earn the PADI Master Scuba Diver certification — the highest recognition in recreational diving, respected by divers worldwide.
Littlehampton Marina, on the West Sussex coast, serves as the base for all dives and training sessions. The marina offers convenient access to excellent UK dive sites, including the Far Mulberry wreck and Bognor Reef. These sites feature diverse marine life, from colourful fish to crustaceans, and provide ideal conditions for refining specialty dive skills.
Training involves both shore and boat dives, allowing divers to experience different underwater environments while practising essential skills. The marina itself is fully equipped with modern facilities, including equipment storage, changing areas, and preparation zones, making it a comfortable and safe base for all course activities.
Participants must hold PADI Open Water, Advanced Open Water, and Rescue Diver certifications, along with a valid Emergency First Response (EFR) qualification completed within the last 24 months. A minimum of 50 logged dives is required by the end of the course, and all divers must complete a standard medical questionnaire confirming fitness to dive.
The minimum age is 12, and divers are encouraged to discuss their goals and preferred specialties with the instructor team to tailor the experience to their individual interests.
The team prides itself on delivering high-quality dive training in a professional, friendly, and supportive environment. As recognised PADI Youth Training Centre and PADI AWARE partners, they focus on developing confident, capable divers while promoting environmentally responsible practices.
Small group sizes ensure every diver receives personal attention, and partnerships with trusted brands such as Fourth Element and Cressi guarantee reliable, well-maintained equipment. With safety and enjoyment at the heart of every dive, each course is designed to help divers progress at their own pace and gain true mastery underwater.
The duration is flexible depending on the specialties you choose and your prior diving experience. Most divers complete the course over several weeks, balancing weekend or evening sessions with practical dives. Instructors will provide a tailored schedule to suit your availability.
