This course is designed to enhance your diving skills and introduce you to new underwater experiences. Building on the basics learned in the Open Water Diver course, this programme allows you to dive deeper and explore various types of dives, making you a more confident and proficient diver.
The UK-based course at Vobster Quay involves five adventure dives spread over a weekend.
Saturday: The course starts at 2pm, allowing participants to travel to the site. The afternoon focuses on orientation, equipment checks, and the first two adventure dives. These dives typically include a deep dive to understand the physiological impacts of depth and an underwater navigation dive to improve compass use and natural navigation skills. The day concludes around 7pm.
Sunday: The second day begins early at 7:30am with three additional adventure dives. These can include a selection such as underwater photography, peak performance buoyancy, and wreck diving. The dives are chosen to develop your skills further and offer varied underwater experiences. The day wraps up by 1:30pm, allowing ample time for debriefing and certification processing.
The Malta course offers a similar structure but in the clear, warm waters of Paradise Bay.
