Open to all paddlers, regardless of discipline or previous coaching experience, this course helps you explore different approaches to understanding and enabling learning. You will create a personalised coaching development plan to apply your learning in practice. This training is available as a two-day practical course or an online modular course. For qualified coaches, it offers 20 CPD points, supporting continuous professional development.
Over the two days, you will immerse yourself in the fundamental principles of coaching, helping you build a comprehensive coaching toolbox. The course includes both practical and theoretical components, ensuring a well-rounded approach to learning. You will engage in various activities that help you understand feedback mechanisms, coaching philosophy, and session planning.
The training is flexible, catering to both mixed groups across various disciplines and single-discipline groups. It can be delivered back-to-back with discipline-specific training or as a separate entity, providing further flexibility to suit your needs. Repeating the course for ongoing learning is encouraged, and it counts as stand-alone training for continued professional development.
