What to Expect
During this introductory session, you'll start by learning how to properly fit a climbing harness and tie in to the rope for safety. Your instructor will guide you through basic belaying techniques, ensuring you understand how to securely manage the climbing rope. As you become familiar with these skills, you'll also gain insights into the climbing grading system, which helps in assessing the difficulty of climbs.
The session includes both roped climbing and bouldering, giving you a well-rounded introduction to indoor climbing. Prerequisites
No prior climbing experience is required for this session, making it ideal for complete beginners.
Participants should wear comfortable, flexible clothing and bring climbing shoes, which can be hired at the climbing wall if needed. In colder months, it is advisable to dress warmly as climbing walls can be chilly.
