The Enriched Air Diver course offers a fantastic opportunity to enhance your diving skills and extend your dive times. By diving with enriched air (Nitrox), you’ll gain the ability to increase your no-stop time, particularly on repetitive dives. This course is designed for experienced divers looking to improve their diving experience and safety.
During the course, you will learn essential skills for diving with enriched air. First, you’ll receive a detailed briefing on how to manage oxygen exposure and ensure safe diving practices when using Nitrox. You will also practice analysing the oxygen content of your dive tank, which is crucial for calculating dive times accurately.
Once you’re comfortable with the theory and practical skills, you’ll set up your dive computer specifically for enriched air Nitrox, allowing you to safely increase your dive times. The day will include two dives, where you'll put your knowledge into action, exploring the vibrant underwater environment while benefiting from longer no-stop dive times.
The course takes place at Punta Tegge on the island of La Maddalena. Situated in the National Park of the Archipelago of La Maddalena, the area is renowned for its diverse marine life and crystal-clear waters, making it an ideal location for divers.
The centre is conveniently located close to the beach, offering easy access to the water and ensuring a relaxed and comfortable experience for divers of all levels.
To take part in this course, you must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid Open Water Diver certification or equivalent.

The Enriched Air Diver course teaches you how to dive using Nitrox, a mixture of oxygen and nitrogen, which allows you to extend your no-stop time and reduce nitrogen build-up, especially on repetitive dives.
This course covers the essential skills for managing oxygen exposure, analysing oxygen content in tanks, and setting up your dive computer for enriched air dives.
The course is designed for experienced divers who hold an Open Water Diver certification or equivalent. If not already achieved, this can be booked by scrolling to the bottom of the page and looking through our other sessions.
You must be at least 18 years old to participate in the course.
The course includes 2 dives in 1 day. It’s designed to be completed in a single day to give you both the theoretical knowledge and practical skills to safely dive with enriched air.

No, you don’t need prior experience with Nitrox diving.
However, you do need to be an experienced diver with an Open Water Diver certification or equivalent to enrol in the course.
