Note that the session includes sections of rock scrambling and climbing over uneven terrain. Participants should be confident moving across wet and rocky surfaces, including descents which can be physically demanding.

While you don’t need to be an expert swimmer, a basic swimming ability is essential. If you can confidently swim the length of a 25m pool, you should be comfortable participating in the activity.
Swimming is a key mode of travel during coasteering, so being able to navigate through the water is important.
You will be provided with specialist coasteering wetsuits, buoyancy aids, and helmets. However, it’s essential to bring your own secure footwear, such as trainers or beach shoes (which need to be secure on the foot!) with good soles.
Additionally, pack a pair of shorts to wear over your wetsuit, a towel, and warm clothes for after the session. A changing robe is also recommended, as many coasteering locations do not have changing facilities.
Yes, participants must be at least 8 years old to join the activity. Kids under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
There is no upper age limit, making it a fantastic option for families and individuals looking for an adventurous outing.
The half-day coasteering sessions typically involve 2 to 2.5 hours in the water, allowing ample time to explore and enjoy the coastline.

Tom was a fantastic guide! Tom was a fantastic guide making our group (7 - 45 yr age range) feel safe, entertained and even a little bit challenged. The kit was great, the views of Tenby gorgeous and we hope to experience this again next year!
