Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech – Imlil

• Distance: 70 km | Duration: 4-5 hours (including stops)
  Your adventure begins in Marrakech, where you’ll meet your guide and fellow cyclists. After a safety briefing and introduction to your e-bike, you'll cycle towards the Atlas Mountains. The route takes you through the Asni Valley, where you will pass traditional Berber villages and terraced fields while enjoying panoramic views of the mountains. A coffee stop in Asni Village offers a brief rest before you continue your journey. You’ll arrive in Imlil, a beautiful village at the foot of Mount Toubkal, where you’ll stay in a traditional guesthouse and enjoy a delicious Moroccan dinner.

Day 2: Imlil – Ouirgane

• Distance: 45 km | Duration: 3-4 hours (including stops)
  Day 2 starts with a ride through Toubkal National Park, famous for its rugged terrain and diverse ecosystems. You'll cycle through scenic valleys, olive groves, and remote Berber settlements, taking in the peaceful surroundings. Upon reaching Ouirgane, a serene village nestled among mountains and olive groves, you’ll check into a local lodge or guesthouse. Enjoy the tranquillity of the village and indulge in a traditional Moroccan meal for dinner.

You’ll enjoy the views of the Atlas Mountains as you explore the rural landscapes. In the evening, return to your guesthouse for another traditional Moroccan dinner and a relaxing evening.

Day 5: Amizmiz – Tahnaout – End of Ride

  On the final day, you’ll cycle towards Tahnaout, a town located at the base of the Atlas Mountains. The route takes you through amazing villages, with views of the mountains and surrounding valleys. Upon reaching Tahnaout, the ride will conclude. You’ll have time to relax and reflect on your journey before heading back to Marrakech, with an optional transfer available for your return.

Prerequisites

Participants should be comfortable cycling for extended periods, with daily distances between 40-70 km. The terrain includes some challenging uphill sections, so a reasonable level of fitness is essential. 

It is recommended that you have some prior cycling experience, particularly for navigating varied terrain. The minimum age for this tour is 12, and participants should be prepared for physical activity in a mountainous environment.

Mohamed, the local guide, is from the village of Imlil in the Atlas Mountains. With over ten years of experience, he is passionate about sharing his knowledge of the mountains and Berber culture with guests. 

Mohamed’s interest in guiding began at the age of 16, inspired by his father, who was also a guide. His deep connection to the area and its traditions makes him the perfect guide for this tour, offering a personal and authentic experience.
