This course is ideal for those starting their climbing journey or those who want to refresh their skills. Over the duration of one or two days, you’ll be introduced to the basics of both indoor and outdoor climbing, including the necessary techniques, equipment, and safety measures to build your confidence as a climber.
On the one-day course, you'll start with a demonstration and overview of the climbing equipment, where you'll learn how to tie into a harness and understand belaying basics. The day will involve practical sessions where you’ll get the chance to climb, learn route selection, and get familiar with the grading system.
The two-day course goes into more detail, covering all the above and adding movement skills, belaying for others, and a deeper understanding of climbing routes and grades. Both courses can take place indoors or outdoors, depending on your preferences.
The courses are available in various locations, with the flexibility to choose between indoor climbing walls and outdoor rock faces.
Indoor options are great for those new to climbing, where you can focus on technique in a controlled environment. Outdoor climbing offers a more hands-on approach, with natural rock formations that bring their own challenges and rewards.
This course is designed for beginners, so no previous climbing experience is required. All equipment will be provided, and our instructors will guide you through the basics to ensure you feel comfortable and safe at all times.
