Summer Adventure Sports Holiday in Morzine, French Alps

No. The holiday does not follow a set itinerary, and activities are chosen during the stay according to the weather, availability and what guests would like to do. This keeps the week flexible and means the group is not committed to activities that may be unsuitable for the conditions.

Your host will help discuss options and coordinate plans, but you remain free to join or decline each activity. Some guests may plan several days together, while others prefer to make independent arrangements and meet the group again later.

Possible activities include hiking, mountain biking, rafting, canyoning, stand-up paddleboarding, climbing, horse riding, golf, wild swimming, skating, karting, zip lining and flying experiences. The precise selection available will depend on local providers and seasonal operating schedules.

Certain activities may require advance booking or have limited spaces, particularly during busy summer dates. Your host can help identify suitable options, although participation and availability cannot be guaranteed until a booking is confirmed.

No. Adventure sports and other optional experiences are paid for separately, allowing you to choose only the activities that interest you. This also means guests can spend different amounts depending on how they wish to structure the week.

Equipment hire and transport connected with an activity may also carry an additional charge. The full cost and inclusions should be checked before confirming any booking with the local provider.

Yes. Many guests attend alone, and the shared chalet setting makes it easier to meet people without needing to arrange a group beforehand. Meals, barbecues and activity planning naturally provide opportunities to get to know the other guests.

There is no expectation that everyone must spend the entire week together. You can join group plans when they appeal to you and take time for yourself whenever you prefer.

No. You decide how much you want to do, so the week can include demanding activities, gentler days or a mixture of both. Guests may choose hiking and rafting on one day, followed by swimming, a picnic or time in town on another.

Some activities will require a particular level of fitness or mobility, and local providers may set their own participation rules. You can simply avoid anything that does not suit your ability or interests.

The group usually includes adults travelling alone, couples and small groups of friends who enjoy outdoor activities and social holidays. Many guests are in their twenties or thirties, although there is no stated upper age limit for adults.

A willingness to join a shared chalet environment is more important than fitting a particular age group. Guests can be highly active or relatively relaxed, provided they are comfortable with the flexible nature of the week.

Breakfast is included every morning, helping you prepare before heading out for the day. Evening meals are served on five nights, with hot drinks, cold drinks and alcohol available alongside those meals.

Two evenings are left uncatered, giving guests the opportunity to try restaurants in Morzine or make their own arrangements. Lunches, snacks and drinks purchased away from the chalet are not included.

Twin and triple room options are offered, with the applicable price depending on the room type selected. Shared rooms suit the sociable nature of the holiday and can be particularly useful for guests travelling alone.

Specific bed arrangements should be confirmed when booking. Availability will depend on the number of guests attending and the room configuration within the chalet.

A minimum of eight guests is required for the week to operate. This helps create the intended group atmosphere and makes it possible to run the hosted chalet stay as planned.

Should the minimum number not be reached, the departure will be cancelled and all payments will be refunded, including the deposit. Guests should avoid making non-refundable travel arrangements until the departure has been confirmed.

The host helps suggest activities, coordinate interested guests and assist with arrangements throughout the week. They also support the social side of the holiday and help everyone settle into the chalet.

Optional experiences remain subject to local availability, and guests are responsible for the cost and suitability of anything they choose to book. You should also check insurance coverage and any requirements issued by the activity provider before taking part.
