This white water river tubing session on the River Feshie offers an exciting way to experience Scotland’s natural waterways. The river’s Grade 3 rapids provide a perfect balance of challenge and fun, with chances to jump into the water and explore at your own pace. Trips are designed to fit the needs of your group, whether you want a gentle float or a more adventure.
Your session begins with a thorough safety briefing and kit fitting, where you’ll receive a wetsuit, helmet, buoyancy aid and river tube. Once everyone is ready, your guide will lead the group to the riverbank and explain the plan for the descent. The tubing route follows the River Feshie’s flowing course, featuring a series of Grade 3 rapids that bring an element of excitement without overwhelming those new to the sport.
During the journey downriver, your guide will offer support and coaching, helping you navigate the rapids and choose when to climb out for a swim or jump into calmer pools if conditions allow. The pace and challenge can be adapted to suit your group’s preferences, ensuring everyone can enjoy the experience safely. After the river tubing section is complete, you’ll return to the meeting point to change out of your wetsuits and finish with a warm drink.
The business is led by guides with years of white water experience, combining local knowledge with international expertise. They understand how to create safe, personalised adventures that cater to different levels and preferences. Small group sizes and adaptable routes mean you get more than a standard session — you get a trip shaped around your group’s needs.
Sustainability is a priority, reflected in everyday choices like using compostable cups and eco-friendly detergents. Support for environmental causes such as Trees for Life is also integral to the operation, helping to offset the company’s footprint and give back to Scotland’s natural landscapes. This commitment adds depth and care to every adventure delivered.
Parking is available close to the meeting point on quiet Highland roads near the River Feshie. Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive detailed directions and exact parking information to ensure easy access. The parking area provides enough space for all participants to leave vehicles safely while they enjoy the session.
The meeting location is designed to minimise the distance you need to carry your equipment, with space nearby to change into your wetsuit and prepare for the activity. Your guide will meet you at this spot, so you won’t need to travel further once you arrive. This setup makes it convenient and straightforward to join the tubing trip without any extra logistics.
