Experience two back-to-back runs of the River Garry, known for its consistent water levels and fun, fast-moving rapids. With Grade 3/4 white water and dam-controlled flow, it’s a great choice for adventurous first-timers or groups looking to share a lively day on the river.
On arrival, you’ll be welcomed by your guide who’ll provide a full safety briefing and help you get into your wetsuit, helmet and buoyancy aid. You’ll be introduced to the basics of paddling and teamwork before heading out onto the river. This section of the Garry is dam-released, which means consistent high water and exciting rapids every time — no waiting on the weather to make it work. The rapids come in quick succession, giving you very little flat water and plenty to smile about.
Each trip includes two full runs of the same section. The first is all about getting familiar with the raft, listening to your guide, and building trust with your team. On the second run, you’ll know what’s coming — and that’s when the fun really starts. Expect splashy wave trains, strong paddle strokes, and the chance to properly engage with the river environment. Once off the water, you’ll dry off and enjoy a hot drink with the rest of your group before heading off.
Born from years of hands-on experience and a shared love of white water, this centre was set up by a team that knows exactly what makes a good day on the river. Your guides aren’t just qualified — they’re passionate about delivering safe, enjoyable sessions that are adapted to the needs and energy of each group. Whether it’s your first time or your tenth, you’ll be supported every step of the way.
Alongside a strong focus on group experience, the business is built with sustainability in mind. From choosing eco-friendly cleaning products to offering drinks in compostable cups, they take small but deliberate steps to reduce their environmental impact. They also support tree-planting efforts through Trees for Life, contributing to long-term environmental recovery in the Highlands. It’s adventure with a bit of heart behind it.
Parking is available near the River Garry, just off the A82 close to Invergarry. Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive detailed instructions with the exact meeting location and parking information to make arrival straightforward. The parking area is suitable for cars and small minibuses, making it accessible for individuals and groups alike.
From the parking spot, it's just a short walk to the river access point where your guide will meet you. You’ll have space to get changed into your wetsuit and organise your kit before the session starts. There are no permanent facilities on-site, but everything you need for the activity will be provided by your guide once you arrive.
