



Take on one of the Highlands' iconic routes with a guided run across the Lairig Ghru. Whether you're preparing for a race or simply craving an adventure through the Cairngorms, this guided crossing provides the perfect opportunity to experience one of Scotland's most famous trails. With a knowledgeable guide leading the way, you can focus on the enjoyment of the run while soaking in the incredible views of the Cairngorm mountains.
The route includes some rough terrain, including a challenging 5km stretch with rocky trails and boulders. As a group, you’ll tackle this section with care, taking it slow and steady. Expect a mix of running, walking, and enjoying the surroundings. The trip includes a morning transfer from Aviemore to the Linn of Dee, where the run begins. By the end of the day, you’ll have covered some of Scotland’s most remote and spectacular trails.
From there, the group will be transferred to the Linn of Dee, where the run will begin. After completing the 32km route, the group will finish the run back in Aviemore around 4-5pm.
You should be comfortable running for 5-6 hours, with a mix of running and walking. Proper preparation is key, as the terrain can be demanding in places.
