Ras Mohammed’s colorful reefs and the turquoise waters around White Island set the scene for a full-day snorkeling adventure from Sharm El Sheikh. Hotel pickup is included for an approximately eight-hour boat trip combining guided snorkeling, relaxing time on deck, and a visit to White Island.
Duration: About 8 hours
Group Size: 1 to 15 guests
Pickup: Hotel pickup in the Sharm El Sheikh area is included
Stops: Ras Mohammed and White Island
Format: Full-day snorkeling boat trip with lunch
Cruise across the Red Sea toward Ras Mohammed, where clear water and colorful coral reefs create excellent conditions for snorkeling. After a safety briefing, put on your mask, snorkel, and fins and follow the snorkeling guide into the water.
Float above coral formations and watch colorful reef fish beneath the surface while the guide keeps the group together. Snorkeling locations are selected according to sea and weather conditions to provide a comfortable experience.
Between snorkeling stops, relax on deck, enjoy the Red Sea views, and have lunch on board before continuing toward White Island.
At White Island, enjoy the pale sand and shallow turquoise water surrounding this distinctive sandbar. Depending on sea and tide conditions, step onto the sandbar, swim in the clear shallows, take photos, or simply relax and enjoy the scenery before returning to the boat.
Ras Mohammed National Park lies at the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula and is known for its coral reefs, clear Red Sea water, and diverse marine life.
White Island is a natural sandbar in the same marine area, surrounded by bright turquoise water and offering a contrasting stop after snorkeling among the reefs.
Hotel pickup is provided from the Sharm El Sheikh area, followed by transfer to the marina. The complete experience lasts approximately eight hours, including pickup and return.
No previous snorkeling experience or certification is required. Beginners are welcome and receive instructions from the crew before entering the water.
You should be comfortable spending a full day on a boat and entering open water. If you are not a confident swimmer, let the snorkeling guide know before entering the sea so the team can provide appropriate guidance and keep you close to the group.
Bring swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. Children can join the boat trip, with water participation depending on age, swimming ability, sea conditions, and the crew’s safety guidance.
Enjoy a complete Red Sea boat day combining hotel pickup, guided snorkeling at selected reef locations, lunch on board, and a visit to White Island.
Instead of spending the entire day at one location, the itinerary combines the colorful underwater scenery of Ras Mohammed with the shallow turquoise waters and pale sands of White Island.
It is an easy way to experience two of the Sharm El Sheikh area’s best-known marine locations in one full-day snorkeling trip, with transportation, boat travel, guidance, and lunch included.
The boat cruises south toward Ras Mohammed National Park, where the crew provides a safety briefing before the first reef stop. Follow your snorkeling guide into the clear water and explore colorful coral reefs and marine life.
The day is set at about eight hours from hotel collection to return. That window covers pickup in Sharm El Sheikh, the boat run to Ras Mohamed National Park, snorkel time, a stop at White Island, and the journey back to the hotel strip.
Exact clock times shift with sea state and how long the group spends at each reef. Allow the full day in your plan and keep the evening loosely free until you are back at the hotel.
Yes. Hotel pickup in the Sharm El Sheikh area is included. You will be given a collection window so you can wait in reception with swimwear and a dry layer ready.
Stay in the pickup area until the crew arrive, because the marina is not a walk from most hotels. If your stay is outside the usual hotel zone, say so when you enquire so the team can confirm whether collection still applies.
This outing is designed as a full snorkeling day, giving you the chance to explore colorful Red Sea reefs from the surface at selected stops throughout the trip. Follow your snorkeling guide in the water and enjoy coral formations and marine life along the Ras Mohammed and White Island route.
The crew provides a safety briefing before entering the water and helps you prepare your snorkeling equipment. Stay close to the guide during each snorkeling session and enjoy time to relax on the boat between stops.
You visit Ras Mohamed National Park first, at the southern tip of Sinai, then continue to White Island, a pale sandbar with shallow water and time on the beach. Both stops are in the same stretch of sea south of Sharm El Sheikh.
Exact entry points shift with wind and current. Treat the day as two named areas rather than a locked pair of buoys. The skipper will brief each stop on the boat.
White Island is a pale sandbar off the Sinai coast, used as a second stop after Ras Mohamed. You can snorkel the shallows and sit on the sand between boat runs. It is not a hotel beach with services, so bring sun protection.
Time on the island is part of this eight-hour format. The crew will say when you need to be back on the boat. Keep valuables dry and stay with the group when it is time to leave.
This outing runs for groups of 1 to 15 guests. You may share the boat with other travellers on the same departure, which is normal for a park day out of Sharm El Sheikh.
Child and infant places are available. Who enters the water still depends on comfort in the sea and how the crew set each stop. Bring sun protection for time on deck and on the sandbar.
Lunch is included in this full-day snorkeling trip and is served on board, giving you time to relax and recharge between the reef stops. Refreshments are also provided during the boat journey.
Optional photos, souvenirs, and any additional personal purchases are not included. The experience is focused on snorkeling at the colorful reefs of Ras Mohammed and enjoying the beautiful surroundings of White Island.
Boat days to Ras Mohamed need good sea conditions. Strong wind, swell or poor visibility can change which edges of the park you use, delay the start, or in unusual weather stop the day from running as planned.
You will be told as early as practical if the plan has to change. Bring a layer for the boat, and treat the Red Sea as open water rather than a pool. The aim is still snorkel time at both stops when the sea allows.
Wear swimwear under clothes you do not mind getting damp, plus a dry layer and sun protection for the boat and the White Island sand. Shoes that grip help on a wet deck. A towel and a small dry bag keep phones safe.
If you have a mask that fits well, bring it. Use reef-safe sun cream well before you enter the water.
No previous snorkeling experience or certification is required. Beginners are welcome, and the crew provides a safety briefing and basic snorkeling instructions before you enter the water.
You should feel comfortable in open water, wearing a mask and snorkel, and following your snorkeling guide. If you are not a confident swimmer or this is your first time snorkeling, let the crew know so they can provide extra guidance and keep you close to the group.
