Exploring Ibiza by private boat offers a more personal way to experience the island’s coastline, with hidden coves, caves, and quiet swimming spots along the route. This exclusive charter combines sightseeing, swimming, and time to relax onboard while cruising through some of the most scenic parts of San Antonio Bay.
Guests meet the captain at the port in San Antonio before boarding a private boat reserved entirely for their group. Following a short introduction and safety briefing, the tour begins along Ibiza’s west and north-west coastline, passing beaches, rocky cliffs, caves, and smaller bays only accessible from the water.
Throughout the charter, the captain selects sheltered locations for swimming and relaxing depending on the conditions on the day. Paddle boards and snorkelling equipment are available onboard, allowing guests to explore the coastline more closely while anchored in calm turquoise waters. Some stops provide access to caves and natural rock formations that are difficult to properly appreciate from land.
The private setup allows the experience to move at a more flexible pace, whether the group prefers swimming, sightseeing, sunbathing, or simply enjoying time together on the boat. The atmosphere remains relaxed throughout while the crew handles navigation and safety.
San Antonio Bay is one of Ibiza’s best-known boating areas, offering easy access to protected coves, caves, and open coastal scenery across the island’s western coastline. Calm conditions and clear water make the area especially popular for swimming and boat excursions.
The surrounding coastline includes hidden beaches, rocky cave systems, and quieter bays that feel more remote despite being close to San Antonio itself. Watching the coastline from the water gives a completely different perspective compared to exploring the island by road.
No previous boating or watersports experience is required for this charter. The experience is designed to suit mixed groups and relaxed sightseeing as well as guests wanting to swim or snorkel during the stops.
Children may join the tour when supervised by an adult. Guests should bring swimwear, towels, and suitable sun protection for the duration of the trip.
With decades of experience operating watersports activities around Ibiza and Formentera, the team has developed a strong reputation for safe and professionally organised experiences on the water. Qualified captains and maintained equipment help ensure guests can relax and enjoy the coastline comfortably.
The crew’s local knowledge allows routes to be adapted according to sea conditions while still showcasing some of Ibiza’s most scenic coastal areas. Attention to safety, customer experience, and smaller group sizes all contribute to a more enjoyable day on the water.
The entire boat is privately reserved, meaning only your invited guests will join the experience. This creates a quieter and more flexible atmosphere throughout the trip.
Private hire also allows the group to enjoy the swimming stops and sightseeing without sharing the space with outside participants.
The boat can accommodate up to 12 guests comfortably during the experience. This works well for families, celebrations, or smaller groups wanting time together on the water.
Keeping numbers limited also helps maintain space onboard for relaxing between stops.
Routes normally include beaches, caves, rocky coastal areas, and sheltered bays along Ibiza’s western coastline. Exact stops may vary depending on sea conditions on the day.
The captain selects locations carefully to provide the best balance of scenery, swimming conditions, and comfort.
Snorkelling equipment is available onboard for guests wanting to explore the clear water around the caves and rocky areas visited during the trip.
Visibility is often excellent around Ibiza’s coastline, particularly in the calmer bays reached by boat.
Swimming stops are included throughout the charter whenever conditions allow. The boat anchors in suitable areas where guests can comfortably enter the water.
Many groups combine swimming with paddle boarding or simply relaxing onboard between stops.
Departure takes place from the Port of San Antonio in Ibiza. Full meeting details are provided after booking confirmation.
The marina area offers nearby parking, cafés, and easy access from many areas of the island.
Children can join the experience when accompanied by an adult. Families often choose private charters because of the more relaxed pace and flexible atmosphere onboard.
The calm bays visited during the tour are generally well suited for family swimming stops.
