Join Ian for an unforgettable 2-hour sailing experience on the beautiful Lake Windermere for up to four people. If you're new to the water, you can simply relax as the stunning landscape unfolds around you, or seasoned sailors are welcome to take control of the yacht alongside Ian. This experience is completely customisable to your preferences, ensuring you make the most of your time on the water.
Your sailing adventure will begin at Storrs Hall, a beautiful lakeside hotel. You'll board a 23-foot Jeanneau yacht, where you’ll meet Ian, your friendly and experienced skipper. Before setting sail, Ian will go over your preferences—whether you want to actively participate or sit back and take in the views. Once on the water, you'll explore Lake Windermere's gorgeous scenery, including iconic points of interest. There’s plenty of space on board to relax, both above and below deck, with access to fresh water, storage, and a toilet.
This experience is designed to be flexible, ensuring both novice and experienced sailors feel comfortable and engaged. You’ll have the chance to learn the basics of sailing, or if you prefer, leave the sailing to Ian while you enjoy a peaceful afternoon on the lake. After your voyage, you can make the most of a 10% discount on pre-booked lunch or afternoon tea at Storrs Hall.

This experience is suitable for participants aged 2 and above. However, it is not recommended for pregnant travellers, individuals with heart conditions, back problems, or for children under two years old.
Unfortunately, the yacht is not wheelchair accessible.
