We had a great time. Fred was a great coach. Will definitely come again
Our instructor Harlyn was great! She is obviously really skilled and made sure we knew what to do and my daughter really learned a lot!
Steph was great, loved the lesson
Coasterring with Lizard adventure. Great day out. Rory was great with us. Got some sea snacks along the way. Great jumps for all levels. Saw the seals. All in all a great day out
I was impressed that Steve contacted me to ask if my adolescents would like a more adventurous experience and tailored the coasteering to them. They all had a great time - came back exhilarated and exhausted. Thanks also for taking some great photos
Chris and Chloe were great guides and coaches, and provided us a wonderfull experience.
We had the best time! There 5 in our group today and Ru was the best guide. He made sure everyone was safe, comfortable with the level of challenge and knowledgeable about the area, flora, and fauna. The views from the cliffs and water were absolutely stunning! I’m so glad…
We had a fab time with Steve guiding us. A wide range of abilities and Steve enabled us all to meet our challenges and succeed. Highly recommend this as an amazing activity. Thumbs up for Steve. Thank you.
Five stars great fun and engaging and entertaining hosting!

Mousehole harbour is where the group kits up, then the route follows the rocks, gullies and optional jumps along this stretch of coast. The whole booking is about three hours including changing, with around two hours in the water. Jumps are optional, photos are included, and you can book as one person or with friends.
Meet at South Quay car park, get a winter wetsuit, helmet and buoyancy aid, then hear a safety brief before you walk to the start. The route changes with tide and swell, but always mixes swimming, scrambling and optional jumps. You can skip any feature.
Please arrive 15 minutes early. Trainers or thick-soled wetsuit boots are required; beach shoes are not accepted and we cannot take you without them. Shorts over the wetsuit protect the suit on the rocks. The guide carries a waterproof camera and shares the photos afterwards.
Mousehole is a fishing village a short drive from Penzance. The meeting point is South Quay Car Park, The Wharf, TR19 6RT. Public toilets and cafes sit in the village, a short walk from the quay.
If the harbour coast is not safe, we move to a nearby route and message you. Parking is in the quay car park. Leave valuables in the car; glasses and jewellery stay off in the water.
You need to be a confident swimmer. The activity is in open water, even with a buoyancy aid on. The minimum age is 10. Under-18s can join without a parent in the water if a consent form is signed in advance.
Bring swimwear, lace-up trainers or wetsuit boots, shorts to wear over the suit, a towel and any medication. Contact lenses or prescription goggles are fine; glasses are not.
The same AALA-licensed team has run coastal sessions in West Cornwall for more than 20 years. Guides are lifeguards as well as coasteering leaders, and they pick the route the day before so you are not walking into a swell that does not work.
Jumps stay optional, photos come with the booking, and you can join on your own. If you want the route to yourselves, book the private Mousehole session instead.
Meet at South Quay Car Park, The Wharf, Mousehole, TR19 6RT. From Penzance follow signs for Mousehole and park on the quay.
Please arrive 15 minutes early so you can change and hear the brief. We confirm the exact start by message if the route has to move.
About three hours in total, including changing and the brief. You usually spend around two hours in the water. The pace follows the group and the tide, so some parties finish a little sooner.
Arrive 15 minutes early so changing does not eat into the water time. If you are running late, send a message rather than arriving mid-brief.
South Quay Car Park, The Wharf, Mousehole, TR19 6RT. Kit up there, then walk to the start of the route. Toilets and cafes sit in the village.
If the harbour coast is not safe we send a new meeting point. Check your messages the day before.
No. Every jump is optional. Ledges usually have a low, mid and higher option, and you can swim around anything you do not want to do.
The guide talks through each feature before you commit. The session still works if you stay on the swims and scrambles.
Lace-up trainers or thick-soled wetsuit boots. Flip-flops, sandals and thin beach shoes are not accepted. Without proper shoes we cannot take you, and we cannot refund that.
Old trainers you do not mind getting wet are the simplest option. The rock is sharp and slick, so grip matters more than looking tidy.
Ten for this group session. Under-18s can join without a parent in the water if a consent form is signed in advance. We still like families to come together when they can.
Children from six can book a private session instead. That is a different listing, with a smaller group and a slower pace.
You need to be a confident swimmer in open water. A buoyancy aid is on the whole time, but you still swim between features and tread water in swell.
If you are unsure, say so when you book. We would rather point you at a calmer private slot than have you struggle on an open group route.
Rain and ordinary wind do not cancel a session. We cancel or move when the swell, wind or tide makes the coast unsafe. A nearby route is the first option.
If we cancel, we rearrange. Message us the day before if you are travelling a long way.
No. Glasses and jewellery stay off, including rings, necklaces, bracelets and hoop earrings. Contact lenses or prescription goggles are fine.
Leave valuables in the car. The guide can hold medication in a dry bag if you need it on the route.
Yes. The guide carries a waterproof camera and shares the pictures with the group afterwards. You do not need to bring a phone on the rocks.
We cannot promise a shot of every jump. The priority is the route and the group, not a photoshoot.
Yes. This is an open group, so solo bookers join other people on the same slot. Kit is issued to each person, and the guide keeps the pace inclusive.
If you want the route to yourselves, book the private Mousehole session instead.
