Cruising Ibiza’s coastline aboard a traditional wooden llaüt offers a slower and more relaxed way to experience the island from the water. This private boat charter combines scenic coastal views, swimming stops, and time to unwind while exploring beaches, caves, and calm bays around San Antonio.
Guests meet the captain at Club Nàutic Sant Antoni before boarding a traditional wooden llaüt reserved exclusively for their group. After a short introduction and safety briefing, the boat departs along Ibiza’s coastline, passing rocky cliffs, hidden coves, caves, and clear turquoise bays that are difficult to fully appreciate from land.
The pace of the experience is calm and flexible, allowing guests to spend time swimming, sunbathing, or simply enjoying the scenery from the deck. Paddle boards, snorkelling equipment, and a Scubajet are available onboard for anyone wanting to explore the water more actively. The floating platform also provides a comfortable place to relax between swimming stops while anchored in quieter bays.
Throughout the charter, the captain handles navigation and selects suitable locations according to sea conditions on the day. Whether choosing the shorter cruise or the full-day experience, the tour focuses on enjoying Ibiza’s coastline at a slower pace away from crowded beaches and nightlife areas.
Departing from San Antonio on Ibiza’s western coast, the charter explores one of the island’s most scenic boating regions. Calm waters, hidden beaches, and rocky caves make the coastline especially well suited for traditional boat cruises and swimming stops.
The marina itself is located within Club Nàutic Sant Antoni, close to cafés, restaurants, and waterfront promenades. Exploring this side of Ibiza by classic wooden boat provides a very different atmosphere compared to the busier resort areas nearby.
No previous boating or watersports experience is needed for this private charter. Guests simply need to feel comfortable around water and follow the captain’s instructions throughout the trip.
Children may join the experience when supervised by an adult. Swimwear, towels, sunglasses, and suitable sun protection are recommended for comfort during the day.
Operating watersports experiences around Ibiza and Formentera for more than 40 years, the team combines local knowledge with experienced captains and carefully maintained boats. Traditional llaüts remain an important part of Ibiza’s maritime culture, offering a more authentic way to experience the coastline.
Safety procedures, regular boat supervision, and qualified crew help ensure guests can relax comfortably throughout the charter. The combination of traditional style and modern onboard equipment creates a unique experience suitable for couples, families, and smaller private groups.
A llaüt is a traditional wooden fishing and coastal boat commonly associated with Ibiza and the Balearic Islands. Its classic design creates a slower and more relaxed style of cruising compared to modern speedboats.
Many guests choose this experience specifically for the authentic atmosphere and traditional appearance of the vessel.
The boat is reserved exclusively for your group, meaning no outside guests join during the trip. This creates a quieter and more flexible atmosphere throughout the experience.
Private hire allows guests to relax, swim, and enjoy the coastline at their own pace while spending time only with friends or family.
Guests can swim, snorkel, paddle board, or use the Scubajet during stops along the coastline. The floating platform also provides a comfortable area to relax on the water.
Others may simply prefer to sunbathe onboard while enjoying the coastal scenery during the cruise.
The charter is available as either a shorter half-day style experience or a longer full-day cruise depending on the option selected during booking.
Both options include coastal cruising, swimming stops, and use of the onboard equipment.
Departure takes place from Club Nàutic Sant Antoni in San Antonio, Ibiza. Full meeting instructions are provided after booking confirmation.
The marina area is easy to access and located close to nearby restaurants, beaches, and parking areas.
Fuel costs are included as part of the private charter, so there are no additional fuel charges during the experience.
This allows guests to relax and enjoy the trip without worrying about extra boating costs afterwards.
Children from 4 years old can join when supervised by an adult throughout the charter. Families often enjoy the calmer pace and relaxed atmosphere onboard.
Swimming stops and floating platforms also make the experience suitable for mixed age groups.
