Buying a bundle is a simple way to commit to regular surfing while keeping costs down. These passes work across all lesson types and general surf sessions, so you can practise consistently and build skills at a pace that fits your lifestyle.
Choosing a surf bundle gives you the freedom to plan your progression around your own schedule. You’ll begin by booking your first session through the form, which sets the starting point for your bundle and ensures you’re placed into the level that suits your current ability. From there, you’re welcome to book sessions one at a time, working steadily through your bundle at a pace that feels comfortable.
Each bundle offers a different level of commitment depending on how often you expect to surf. The 5-session bundles are valid for 3 months, giving you enough time to dip into lessons or a mix of lessons and general sessions without pressure. The 10-session bundles, valid for 6 months, suit anyone planning regular visits while still wanting plenty of room to choose dates that fit flexibly around busy weeks. The 25- and 50-session bundles come with a 12-month validity, ideal if you want to maintain consistent training across the year, enjoy longer runs of improvement, or simply benefit from the best value per session.
As you progress, you can switch freely between lessons and independent sessions. Many surfers begin with coaching to fine-tune technique, then use general sessions to practise at their own pace. Others dive straight into regular sessions once they feel confident. Because the wavepool stays consistent every day, you’re able to build skills deliberately, track your growth, and enjoy the reassurance of knowing each session offers the same reliable conditions.
Set within Newbridge, the facility provides a purpose-built environment for rapid progression, offering a wide spectrum of wave types that remain reliable throughout the day. With the wavepool only a short distance from major transport routes, it’s easy to fit in sessions whether you’re planning ahead or booking spontaneously.
Surrounding woodland and canal-side paths offer calm places to unwind before or after you surf, and the grounds include spaces to watch the waves, chat with instructors or warm up before heading into the water. Everything is arranged to help repeat visits feel comfortable and enjoyable.
There are no special requirements to purchase a bundle, and you’re free to choose any lesson or session that matches your ability. Each option has its own entry guidelines, and those will determine which levels are suitable as you work through your bundle.
If you’re unsure about which session to pick next, instructors can guide you after your first visit. They’ll help you choose sessions that match your progression so every part of the bundle continues to feel rewarding and appropriate for your skill level.
Award-winning facilities and Europe’s largest inland wavepool make this an ideal place to develop quickly, thanks to consistent waves that allow for repeatable practice. With advanced Wavegarden technology powering the sessions, you gain access to wave shapes that suit all ability levels, from first-timers through to surfers preparing for steep take-offs or tube riding.
Beyond the water, the wider resort offers plenty to enjoy on days when you want a full experience. You might warm up in the sauna, practise manoeuvres at the on-land SurfSkate Academy, or explore woodland and canal-side paths between sessions. With cafés, a bar and dining options showcasing local produce, there’s a relaxed atmosphere that encourages you to make each visit part of a memorable routine.
A lesson gives you guided support from an instructor who will focus on building confidence in the water, showing you how to handle your board, and helping you progress to the next stage of your surfing. This approach keeps things structured, with coaching tailored to the group’s ability so everyone learns at a pace that feels comfortable. In contrast, this session may involve more independent time on the waves depending on what you’ve booked.
A standard session is more about free surfing within a supervised environment. You’ll still have support around you if needed, but the aim is to let you apply your skills and enjoy time on the water. It’s ideal for anyone wanting space to practise rather than follow a coached plan from start to finish.
Changing facilities are available close to where this session is based, providing a warm place to get ready before heading out and somewhere comfortable to warm up afterwards. These areas are designed to be spacious and easy to use, especially for families or anyone managing young children or extra kit.
You’ll find indoor changing rooms with showers, lockers, and amenities such as hair dryers. Everything is arranged so you can store your valuables securely and rinse off after the water without needing to rush.
When this session is running, qualified lifeguards are on duty to monitor the water and keep everyone safe. They work alongside trained surf instructors who handle both the coaching environment and water-based supervision.
Their training covers a wide range of rescue and first-aid skills, ensuring you’re taking part in an activity overseen by professionals who can respond quickly to changing conditions. This gives you the reassurance of having expert support throughout your time in the water.
You’ll need to be able to swim at least 25 metres without any assistance to join this session. This minimum level ensures you’re confident enough to move through the water independently, even if you fall from your board or need to paddle back to a safe area.
Being comfortable in the water is just as important as swimming ability. Having a bit of confidence helps you get more out of the activity, as you’ll be more relaxed while learning new skills or handling waves.
Wetsuits and accessories suitable for local water conditions are provided as part of this session, including additional items like boots, gloves, or a hood when needed. Boards are also supplied so you don’t need to purchase or carry your own equipment unless you want to.
You’re welcome to bring your own wetsuit if you prefer using personal kit, and the team can check it fits the conditions on the day. Bringing a familiar wetsuit can be helpful for regular surfers wanting a consistent feel in the water.
Local water temperatures can vary, and cooler days are always possible. To keep you comfortable, the centre provides thick wetsuits and thermal accessories designed to retain heat during longer sessions.
Even on cold days, these wetsuits offer consistent warmth so you can focus on your time in the waves. Staff will help ensure you’re dressed appropriately before you start.
There is a café, bar, or restaurant near the activity area where you can order food and drinks before or after this session. Seating is available inside, with some spots offering views of the water so you can watch others surf.
Takeaway options are usually available as well, making it easy to grab something quickly between activities. Staff at the venue can guide you through ordering, dietary information, and seating availability.
You’ll start by selecting your first session through the booking form. This gives you an initial date in the diary and ensures you’re placed in the appropriate level to get the most from your surfing.
After that first session, you can either speak directly with your instructor to plan remaining dates or book each future session individually at times that suit you. This keeps things flexible so you can build your schedule around work, school or family commitments.
Absolutely — bundles work across both. Many surfers enjoy using lessons early on to refine technique and then applying those skills in general sessions where they can practise freely.
Others split their time evenly between coached and uncoached sessions, enjoying the balance of guidance and independence. The system is designed so you can adapt your plan as you progress, without any restrictions.
