Fantastic morning on the water for the whole family!

Experience the excitement of paddling through river rapids or enjoy a scenic float in a Gorge, all while honing your paddleboarding skills. Whether you're looking for an exciting adventure or a peaceful escape, this session provides a unique way to connect with nature in the beautiful surroundings of the Scottish Highlands. Tailored for private groups, this trip ensures a personalised and memorable outing on the water.
Your adventure begins with a comprehensive introduction to paddleboarding techniques, including how to navigate flowing water safely and effectively. Jess, your experienced coach and guide, will cover essential skills, such as balance, steering, and river reading. The session starts off in calm waters where you can practice these techniques and build confidence before progressing to the river rapids.
Depending on the conditions and your preference, you’ll either take on the gentle yet scenic paddle through a beautiful gorge or head downstream on the River Lochy. Throughout the session, Jess will offer tips and guidance, ensuring you improve your paddling skills while enjoying the surroundings. Each route offers its own unique views and challenges, making this a fun yet rewarding outing for everyone.
We run sessions in the scenic area surrounding Fort William, primarily on the River Lochy. However, due to changing weather conditions on the West Coast, we may adjust the location to ensure an enjoyable session.
Typical starting points include Spean Bridge Woollen Mill and the historic Old Inverlochy Castle, offering easy access to gorgeous river routes.
Participants should have a reasonable level of fitness and be confident swimmers. No prior paddleboarding experience is necessary, but a sense of adventure and enthusiasm is encouraged.
Under-18s must be accompanied by an adult, and a minimum of two participants are required to book the session. For solo participants, simply book for two and mention it in your form.
