


In the RYA Youth Sailing Level 2 Course, young people can build on the skills learnt in the Stage 1 course and gain the RYA Youth Sailing Stage 2 qualification. This two-day course is designed for young sailors aged 8 to 15, helping them develop the skills needed to sail around a course confidently and understand the basic principles of sailing.

We are situated on the Southern shore of Grafham Water in a small village called Perry in West Cambridgeshire. There is easy access to us from the surrounding area through the A1 and the A14.
We usually run our youth sessions for those aged between 8 and 15 years old. Those aged 16+ would generally join RYA adult sessions.
The course runs for two consecutive days, from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM each day. This provides approximately 16 hours of instruction and practice.
Yes, participants should have sailing skills to the standard of Stage 1. This ensures that all students have a basic understanding of sailing techniques and safety procedures.
Yes, upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate recognising their improved sailing skills, including the ability to sail around a course confidently and perform tacking and gybing maneuvers.
