This course is designed for those looking to refresh their existing rock climbing skills, whether you’re new to the sport or just want to brush up. Whether you’re an individual or a small group, you’ll receive personalised guidance to help you feel more confident and skilled in your climbing.
In the half-day session, you’ll have a refresher on all the essential climbing techniques, including belaying, tying into a harness, and movement skills. Depending on your needs, you can focus on either indoor or outdoor climbing, with a variety of climbs available to suit your skill level. For the full day, you’ll have more time to explore these skills in greater detail, getting more personalised tips and guidance to boost your confidence on the rock.
Expect to receive a full demonstration of equipment, with a chance to practice and ask questions throughout the session. If there are particular areas you want to focus on, feel free to let us know, and we can tailor the session to meet your needs.
Sessions can be held in a variety of locations, depending on the weather and your preference. If you’re interested in an indoor session, we’ll arrange it at a local climbing facility.
For outdoor sessions, we’ll meet at a suitable climbing location, chosen based on your skill level and the conditions of the day. Outdoor locations offer a chance to practise in real-world climbing environments, giving you the best opportunity to improve your technique.
