Step away from modern life and reconnect with nature on a private one-to-one bushcraft and survival experience. These courses are designed to build confidence, teach practical wilderness skills, and allow you to embrace the solitude and challenges of the woodland environment. Flexible options are available, from half-day to full-day experiences, all tailored to your interests and pace.
Archery is also available for an extra fee.
Half-Day Course (3 hours)
The half-day experience is ideal for those wanting an introduction to bushcraft or to focus on a specific skill. You’ll receive one-to-one tuition covering the essentials of survival, such as fire lighting, shelter basics, knife safety and foraging guidance. The pace is flexible and shaped around your interests, whether that’s learning how to prepare a fire safely, using natural materials for shelter, or identifying useful trees and plants. By the end, you’ll have practical techniques you can take away and continue practising in your own time.
Full-Day Course (5 hours)
A full-day allows you to explore a broader range of skills in more depth. Starting in the morning, you’ll build confidence in core bushcraft techniques like fire by friction, tarp or natural shelter setups, water filtration, and safe tool use. The extra time means you can work on refining your skills, gaining hands-on practice with guidance while also learning woodland awareness and ecology. You’ll bring a packed lunch to enjoy around the fire, giving you a chance to practise outdoor cooking and experience a full day immersed in woodland life.
