Your session begins with a full safety briefing and introduction to paddling techniques from your instructor, who will also help you get comfortable with your equipment. Once everyone is ready, you’ll head down to a sheltered cove to launch your kayaks and ease into the experience with calm waters close to shore. From here, you’ll learn how to paddle effectively while building confidence and enjoying the first glimpses of Newquay’s dramatic coastline.
As you make progress, your guide will lead you along stretches of coast rich in wildlife, history, and hidden features. Depending on conditions and your preference, you may explore sea caves, discover tucked-away beaches, or glide past rocky headlands where seabirds and seals are often spotted. The tour is flexible and entirely shaped around your pace, with plenty of opportunities to pause, take photos, and swap between single and double kayaks if you’d like to try both.
