This private sailing session offers a special way to celebrate or spend quality time with family and friends. Escape the crowds and take to the water for a tailored outing that combines amazing views of Barcelona with a relaxed and intimate setting.
Your session begins at Marina Vela, where you’ll board a well-equipped boat chosen for its comfort and performance. After a short safety briefing, your skipper will guide you out onto the Mediterranean, where you’ll take in gorgeous views of Barcelona's iconic skyline from the water.
Throughout the trip, you’ll be served a selection of drinks, including cava, wine, local beers, and soft drinks, accompanied by tapas and snacks. In the warmer months, the boat can anchor to allow for swimming, with a bathing platform and ladder making water access easy and safe.
Alternatively, if conditions are windier, there’s the opportunity to try your hand at sailing under the guidance of our professional crew. Whether relaxing or getting involved, this session offers something for everyone in your group.
This activity is based at Marina Vela, one of Barcelona’s most modern and accessible marinas. Located next to the W Hotel and Barceloneta beach, the marina offers excellent facilities and a prime starting point for exploring the Mediterranean coastline.
Marina Vela’s central location makes it easy to reach from most parts of the city, with nearby parking, public transport options, and close proximity to key attractions, including Barceloneta's lively seafront area.
No prior boating knowledge is required. Participants should bring loose clothing, flat shoes, swimwear, towels, and sun protection.
A basic ability to swim is recommended for those wishing to take a dip.
Our skilled and friendly skippers and instructors are dedicated to providing a personalised and memorable time on the water. Barcelona is an outstanding location for water-based activities, offering reliable winds, sunshine, and captivating coastal views.
We ensure all our boats are maintained to exceptional standards, delivering comfort, stability, and performance for your time on the Mediterranean.
The price covers the boat hire for a private half-day session, including a professional skipper and crew, a selection of drinks (cava, wine, local beers, and soft drinks), snacks, and tapas.
Safety equipment and access to the boat’s bathing platform for swimming are also included.
The boat can accommodate up to 10 people.
This is a private session, so you and your group will have exclusive use of the boat during the half-day trip.
Though it is rare, if the weather conditions are unsuitable for sailing, such as heavy rain or rough seas, we can reschedule your session.
We will inform you of any weather-related issues in advance and offer alternative dates if needed.
You are unlikely to get wet unless you decide to go swimming.
If you do wish to swim, we have a large bathing platform and ladder to easily access the water, making it comfortable and safe to enjoy the Mediterranean.
No, prior sailing experience is not required. Our experienced skippers will guide you throughout the trip.
If you’re interested in learning or participating, you can take turns steering the boat or assisting with sailing on windier days.
