When you pick up your e-bike, our team will give you a brief overview of how to use the electric assist, dashboard, and locking system. You’ll receive two standard locks (ring and cable), plus a third lock for added security. A fully charged battery gives you a riding range of up to 45km, but for longer hires we’ll also supply a charger so you can top up your battery overnight or during a coffee stop.
Riding through Barcelona on an e-bike is especially useful for covering ground quickly between popular areas like the Gothic Quarter, Eixample, and Barceloneta. The e-bikes make short work of hills and longer straight roads—great if you want to head up to viewpoints like Montjuïc or cruise along the beachfront without tiring yourself out. You can switch between motor support and regular cycling whenever you want, and thanks to the lightweight frame, riding without assistance is still smooth and manageable.
Each e-bike comes with safety lights, hydraulic brakes, and adjustable handlebars and saddles to ensure comfort no matter your height. Helmets, baskets, panniers and child seats (up to 25kg) are available as optional extras. Free Wi-Fi is available in the shop, and staff are on hand to help with fitting, directions, and cycling advice if you need it.
Pick-up and return your electric bike from either of our two city-centre locations: Carrer de Montserrat, 8 or C/ dels Tallers, 45, both situated in the heart of Barcelona’s Old Town. These locations are within easy reach of Las Ramblas, Plaça Catalunya, and major metro and bus stops, making them ideal starting points whether you’re staying locally or arriving from further afield.
You'll also be close to major bike lanes and safe cycle routes leading to the beach, parks, and hills.
All riders must be at least 16 years old to hire an e-bike. No specific experience is needed, but riders should be confident cycling in urban environments.
Helmets are not mandatory in Barcelona but are recommended, especially for less experienced riders or longer journeys.
