This experience is perfect for those who want to explore the coast in style while enjoying wildlife, jumping, climbing, and cave exploration. With a focus on fun and safety, it’s a great way to see more of the coast and try something different.
After meeting at Maidencombe, you’ll kit up in coasteering gear before being picked up by the powerful 400-horsepower boat, ‘Whistler’. Once aboard, you’ll zoom to the first location where you'll learn some key skills. The boat ride will take you along the coast, with plenty of opportunities to jump, climb, explore caves, and spot wildlife.
Along the way, you’ll have the chance to take some great photos. The experience is designed for all levels, with plenty of highlights for those looking to push their limits. After around two hours, you’ll head back to the beach.
The adventure starts at Maidencombe Beach, located just outside Torquay. This area is perfect for both coasteering and powerboat adventures, giving easy access to the Devon coastline.
After the adventure, you’ll be right next to a beach, café, and pub, ideal for unwinding and sharing stories over a drink.
Participants should be comfortable in the water, but no prior experience is required. Be prepared to get wet and ensure you can swim short distances if needed. A minimum of 6 people is required to run the experience.

We're located on the A379 between Torquay and Shaldon. Turn down Steep Hill or Brim Hill. Free parking is available on the road, and there's a paid car park near the beach. We meet outside the pub.

The number 22 bus from Torquay or Dawlish will get you here.
By Train
Trains are available to Newton Abbot, Teignmouth, or Torquay. From there, you can take a taxi or a bus to reach us.

You’ll need to bring your personal swimwear, towel, and any extra clothing for comfort after the experience.
All necessary coasteering equipment, such as wetsuits and helmets, will be provided. It’s also a good idea to bring a change of clothes for afterward, as you will get wet.
