Have you always wanted to try scuba diving without the pressure of completing a certification course? The PADI Discover Scuba Diving course is the perfect trial dive experience. This introductory session lets you try scuba diving in one of our heated swimming pools, conveniently located across several locations near Central London, Brighton, North London, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey, Berkshire, Kent, and Oxfordshire.
The diving experience is a one-and-a-half-hour minimum introduction to diving. It begins with a safety briefing from a professional PADI instructor. Participants start in the shallow end of the pool, where they learn to use the scuba equipment and take their first breaths underwater. Basic safety skills are also covered at this stage.
Following this, participants venture into the deep end to experience weightlessness, simulating an astronaut’s experience. While this trial dive does not result in a certification, it provides a fantastic introduction to the underwater world and helps you decide if you want to pursue the full open water certification.
Our sessions are held in six heated swimming pools across various locations, ensuring easy access for participants from Central London, Brighton, North London, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey, Berkshire, Kent, and Oxfordshire.
Each location is equipped to provide a comfortable and safe environment for your diving experience.
To participate in the PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience, you need to be at least 10 years old. No previous diving experience is necessary, but being in reasonably good physical health is important.

After completing your trial dive, you’ll receive a code that offers half your money back if you decide to enrol in our PADI Open Water Course. Bring your swimwear, a towel, and any personal items you might need.
All scuba equipment is provided, but having a change of clothes and a water bottle is also recommended.
Plan to arrive at least 15-20 minutes before your scheduled session.
This allows time for check-in, changing, and meeting your instructor.
While no formal swimming test is required, basic comfort in the water is helpful.
If you're not confident in your swimming abilities, consider practising beforehand to ensure a more enjoyable experience.
Participants should be in reasonably good physical health.
