Lesson Breakdown
Our paddleboarding lesson begins with a warm welcome and introduction to the equipment. You will be fitted with a wetsuit and buoyancy aid, ensuring your comfort and safety throughout the session.
Your instructor will guide you through the basics of paddleboarding, starting with prone paddling for self-rescue. You will learn how to stand up on the board, paddle while kneeling, and climb back on if you fall off. The session also covers essential skills like using the leash, setting the height of your paddle, and personal safety measures.
As you become more comfortable on the board, your instructor will take you through the beautiful dock system. You will learn how to turn and stop the board, gaining confidence and skill with each stroke. The session is not only educational but also a lot of fun, providing a fantastic opportunity to explore the docks and enjoy the fresh air.
