The session begins in our heated changing rooms, where you’ll be kitted out with a Rip Curl wetsuit, buoyancy aid, helmet, paddle, and all fishing equipment. Your instructor will provide a full safety briefing and teach basic paddling and fishing techniques to ensure you feel confident before heading to the water.
Once on the kayaks, you’ll explore semi-secret coves, natural rapids, and inlets along Newquay’s coastline. Instructors will guide you to fishing hotspots where you can try different techniques, from dropping a line to trawling behind your kayak. Small group sizes allow for personalised tuition, so whether you’re new to fishing or a seasoned angler, you’ll receive instruction pitched to your level.
