Riding across our farmland near Glasgow offers a fun and engaging way to spend time outdoors, suitable for both juniors and adults. Sessions are designed for beginners and those with limited experience, giving riders the chance to enjoy the trails safely while being fully kitted out. Each session is run privately, so you’ll have dedicated attention from your instructor throughout.

What to Expect

The session begins with a full safety briefing and demonstration, followed by kitting out in provided overalls, helmets, and gloves. Participants then head out onto the farmland trails for an instructor-led ride, taking in the surrounding countryside while learning basic quad handling skills.

Junior sessions with adult participation allow for up to 40 minutes of saddle time, with quads suitable for youth and adult riders. Adult spectators-only sessions run at a slower pace and ensure safety while still letting juniors experience the excitement of riding. For juniors riding alone, 30 minutes of riding time is included with supervision from a present adult.

Weather conditions may affect some trail sections, but sessions are adapted to ensure riders get their full riding time. In extreme weather, sessions may be rescheduled with alternative dates offered.

Location

The activity is based at Easterhill, Gartmore, conveniently located on the edge of Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park. Less than an hour’s drive from Glasgow and just over 30 minutes from Stirling, it’s easy to reach from all parts of Central Scotland.

The farmland trails are surrounded by newly planted and mature trees, offering a scenic and safe environment for both adults and junior riders. The area is perfect for outdoor activity days, family trips, or group events, with plenty of space to ride and enjoy the countryside.

Prerequisites

Participants should wear boots, wellies, or trainers that can get muddy. Riders must be within the stated age and weight limits for each quad.

All junior sessions require a supervising adult to be present throughout the session, including kitting out and safety briefings.
