## FAQs

### How do I get there?

We are located on the A81, just outside Gartmore and Aberfoyle. If using a SatNav, enter our full address: Easterhill, Gartmore, FK8 3SA. Turn into Trossachs Holiday Park from the A81 and follow the right-hand fork down an unpaved farm track, following the small sign. After about half a mile, you’ll reach the farm on your left. Parking is signposted past the green barn on the right. Please drive carefully on the track, keeping to the 5 MPH speed limit.

### Is public transport available?

Due to our rural location, public transport is not recommended. If you plan to travel by bike, we are directly connected to Sustrans Cycle Route 7.

### Can I bring my dog?

Yes, dogs are welcome, but they must be kept on a lead at all times. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after them and disposing of waste in the bins provided. Water bowls and spare poo bags are available on-site. If your dog cannot be left in your vehicle while you take part in an activity, you must bring a non-participating adult to supervise them. Please note that spectating while supervising a dog is not suitable for most activities.

### Do I need to have an adult in my group?

Yes, all sessions require at least one adult participant.

### Do I need previous quad biking experience?

No prior experience is needed for either junior or adult sessions. The sessions are designed for beginners and those with limited riding experience, with an instructor providing step-by-step guidance. All riders receive a safety briefing and demonstration before heading onto the trails. Instructors remain with participants throughout the session to ensure everyone rides safely and confidently.

### What ages can participate in junior sessions?

Junior sessions are designed for riders aged 10–15 years. An adult must be present either riding alongside or supervising throughout the session. Adults have the option to ride or spectate, depending on the session type. The quads are appropriately sized and powered to match the age and weight of junior riders.

### What quad bikes are used for juniors and adults?

Junior riders use 70cc Polaris, 90cc Honda, or 110cc Polaris quads depending on session type and rider size. Adults use 110cc Polaris or 250cc Honda quads. All quads are well-maintained and regularly serviced to ensure safety. Weight limits apply: 13 stone for junior quads and 18 stone for adult quads.

### How long does the riding time last?

Junior sessions with adult participation provide up to 40 minutes in the saddle, while junior-only sessions offer around 30 minutes of riding time. This time is calculated within a 1-hour session that includes full kitting out, safety briefing, and demonstration. The session ensures riders get maximum time on the trails.
