Experience the invigorating blend of sea swimming and adventure with this unique taster session. Designed to offer a refreshing escape, this experience allows you to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the North Northumberland coast. Guided by Hayley, a Wild Swimming Walking Guide and Outdoor and Adventure Therapist, you will explore a serene bay and enjoy a warm, communal moment around a portable wood-burning stove.
Upon arrival, you'll gather at a small, free car park near Amble or Boulmer. You can decide which option you prefer when booking. From there, a short and easy walk will lead you to a secluded, shallow bay—ideal for those who prefer not to swim out of their depth. The bay's sheltered location ensures a comfortable swimming experience, even for those new to the activity.
After your swim, Hayley will set up a portable wood-burning stove on the beach. This inviting setup will provide warmth and comfort as you relax and enjoy a hot beverage from your flask. The session is designed to be a shared experience, with the possibility of interacting with fellow adventurers, although private group options are also available for a more personalised outing.
