Refresh and update your first aid skills with our comprehensive two-day requalification course. Ideal for those whose current First Aid at Work qualification is nearing expiration, this course ensures you remain compliant with essential workplace safety regulations.
This two-day course covers a wide range of essential first aid skills tailored specifically for the workplace. On the first day, you will cover legalities, responsibilities, and reporting, alongside practical skills such as control of bleeding, bandaging, and managing unresponsive casualties. You will also learn how to handle shock, including anaphylaxis, and recognise and treat heart attacks and strokes.
The second day focuses on dealing with conditions such as poisoning, asthma, diabetes, and epilepsy. Additionally, you'll address fractures, spinal injuries, head injuries, eye injuries, and burns. Resuscitation techniques and AED awareness will also be covered to ensure comprehensive emergency response skills. Our expert instructors, Charlie and Dan, will guide you through each topic with practical demonstrations and hands-on exercises, ensuring you leave the course with the confidence and competence to handle workplace emergencies effectively.
