Spend four hours sailing along Costa Rica’s Pacific coastline aboard a private 40ft catamaran reserved exclusively for your group. Cruise past jungle-backed beaches, snorkel in clear water and enjoy kayaking or paddleboarding during a relaxed morning charter. With gourmet snacks and an open bar included, this private experience combines coastal sailing with water activities and onboard dining.
The experience begins with pickup from selected hotels before boarding the 40ft catamaran along Costa Rica’s north Pacific coast. Once onboard, the crew provides a short safety briefing while guests enjoy a welcome drink before departing along the coastline.
The catamaran cruises past beaches, forested hills and rocky coves typical of the Guanacaste region. During the journey the captain anchors in a sheltered bay selected for swimming conditions. Guests can snorkel using the provided equipment or explore the area by kayak or paddleboard.
Food and drinks are served during the cruise, including light dishes and cocktails from the open bar. Guests can relax on deck between activities while the catamaran continues along the coastline before returning to the marina after approximately four hours.
This tour operates along Costa Rica’s north Pacific coastline in the Guanacaste region, an area known for its warm waters, tropical beaches and marine wildlife.
Common departure points are near Flamingo, Tamarindo and surrounding coastal towns. The captain selects snorkelling locations based on daily conditions to ensure safe swimming and good water clarity.
No previous sailing or snorkelling experience is required. Guests who plan to snorkel, paddleboard or kayak should be comfortable entering the water from a boat.
Boarding requires stepping from the dock onto the catamaran. The vessel is not wheelchair or stroller accessible. Infants must sit on an adult’s lap, and infant seats are unavailable. The tour is not recommended for travellers with back problems, heart conditions or for those who are pregnant.
Operating across multiple destinations and having welcomed over 50,000 travellers, this team specialises in structured private sailing experiences led by experienced crews.
Transport logistics and guest communication are managed before departure, with pickup locations confirmed the day before the tour. The focus is on delivering well-organised private charters that combine sailing, water activities and onboard hospitality.
