Praa Sands, located in west Cornwall, offers a scenic setting for your coasteering adventure. With its rugged coastline and hidden gems, it provides the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable experience. The specific meeting point will be confirmed upon booking.
Participants must be 9 years old to join and children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. A reasonable level of fitness and swimming ability is required to participate safely in the activity.

Coasteering is an adventurous activity that involves exploring rocky coastlines, primarily within the inter-tidal zone.
Participants engage in a mix of wild swimming, walking, scrambling, and cliff-jumping.
Not at all. Buoyancy aids and wetsuits provide significant flotation, making swimming stretches manageable.
Typically, swims are short, under fifty meters.
For non-swimmers we recommend you try our Beginners' Coasteering Courses, also held at Praa Sands in west Cornwall.
While some may perceive coasteering as risky, when conducted with certified providers following safety guidelines, it's a relatively safe adventure activity.
Risk is inherent in all adventure sports, but proper management keeps it to acceptable levels.
We supply high-quality winter wetsuits, buoyancy aids, and helmets from reputable brands to ensure participant safety and comfort.
Essential items to bring include: Lace-up shoes to wear in the sea, extra shorts to be worn over the provided wetsuit, swimming attire, and a towel to dry off afterward.
Participants may use their own wetsuits, provided they meet winter-grade specifications (5/4mm thickness). We can assess suitability upon arrival.
Basic fitness is sufficient for coasteering. While swimming may be tiring for some, there are ample opportunities for rest breaks.
Contact lenses are generally suitable for coasteering, although there's a slight risk of losing them.
Glasses wearers may need a securing strap or alternative eyewear.
