Surfboards, a board and wetsuit package, winter wetsuits, boots and gloves, stand-up paddleboards, bodyboards with fins, a kayak for two hours, and a giant SUP for two hours. Prices sit on the booking options.

Staff will steer you away from a paddleboard or kayak if the swell or wind makes that a poor choice on the day.

No. This is hire only. Staff will show you how the kit works and give a short safety note, then you are on your own on the beach.

Eight for most kit, with an adult on the beach. Younger children can use a bodyboard if an adult is in the water with them. Ask if you are unsure which option fits.

Giant SUP and kayak hire need water confidence and enough people to handle the kit safely.

Not for a soft-top surfboard on a small day. Paddleboards and kayaks need more water confidence, especially if there is wind or swell.

Tell us what you have done before. We would rather give you a stable board than send you out on kit that does not match the sea.

Yes. Book each day, or send a message if you want several days in a row and we will see what we can hold. Overnight hire is by arrangement, not automatic.

Return the kit at the time we agree so the next booking is not waiting. If you forget something essential we will say so on the day rather than sending you out in kit that does not work.

No. Add a wetsuit, or the board-and-suit option, when you book. Winter suits, boots and gloves are there for colder months and shoulder days.

Your own full-length suit is fine if you only want a board. If you forget something essential we will say so on the day rather than sending you out in kit that does not work.

Rain does not stop hire. If the beach is unsafe or a paddleboard is a poor choice, we will say so and offer another kit type or another beach if we are running one.

If we cannot kit you safely, we rearrange or refund that booking. If you are driving a long way, check your messages the evening before so you are not on the road before we have confirmed the plan.

Swimwear, a towel, warm dry clothes and sunscreen. A water bottle helps. Leave phones and bags in a locker or the car.

If you need an inhaler or other medication in the water, keep it on you in a way that will survive a swim.
