Hire a soft or hard surfboard, bodyboard, SUP or wetsuit and collect it from the school, a short walk from the beach. Choose a two-hour, day, three-day or week slot, then head straight out once you've left ID as a deposit.
Our Click & Collect system allows you to choose your surf equipment online, reserve a convenient collection time, and easily pick up your gear. Once booked, your equipment will be ready and waiting for you outside the surf school, labelled with your name and order number.
Just grab your gear and head straight to the waves, no queues, no delays. After you're done surfing, simply return the equipment as agreed.
We are located a short, level walk from the beach, offering easy access to great surf conditions. With plenty of parking available year-round, you can focus on your surf session without worrying about logistics.

The surf safety disclaimer must be filled out by someone over 18 years old. If you're hiring for a younger group, an adult still needs to complete that form before the kit goes out.
We require a valid ID (such as a driving licence, passport, or debit/credit card) to be left as a security deposit during the hire period. We'll return it when the equipment comes back as agreed.

You'll find us by Lula's (formerly the Rockpool Bar & Grill) just outside the village of Gwithian. The surf school and shop is within a 15-minute drive of St Ives and Hayle, and about 30 minutes from Penzance and Newquay.
By car, take the Hayle exit (near M&S) from the A30. After the Hayle exit roundabout you'll come to a double roundabout; take the third exit onto the B3301 towards Gwithian. Drive for about three miles, go through the village, then turn left after the humpback bridge. We're in the building just to the right of Lula's, with parking available year-round.
Bring a piece of ID (driving licence, passport, or debit/credit card) to leave as a security deposit. If you're hiring a wetsuit, wear swimwear underneath.
Remember your own towel and any personal items like sunscreen or water.

Yes, we do. With surfing you tend to get very wet anyway so it's an activity that rain doesn't affect too much.
We wouldn't go into the sea if there was thunder and lightning, fog and mist, or during a hailstorm. Hire still collects as booked unless we contact you about a safety issue.
We offer a range of surfboards to suit all abilities. Swellboards are perfect for beginners to learn and practise basic techniques. Redback Revolution Softboards are ideal for intermediate surfers ready to improve their skills.
Epoxy mals and mini-mals are for more advanced surfers looking for performance boards.
Our Click & Collect system makes hiring surf gear easy. Simply select the type of surfboard and wetsuit you need, choose a collection time that suits you (from 9:30am to 5:30pm), and complete your booking online.

Yes, you can hire equipment for multiple days. When booking, simply choose your desired hire duration, and we'll ensure your gear is available for the entire period.
If you wish to extend your hire time after booking, just give us a call to arrange it.
