Our lessons cover a comprehensive range of topics, including paddleboard fundamentals, techniques, safety measures, and equipment guidance.
You'll receive hands-on instruction from our experienced BSUPA-qualified instructors, ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning experience on the water.
Upon completion, you will receive a lesson completion card that will demonstrate your competency for future adventures with us and other sports providers.
Meet us at the North Sands car park in Salcombe, conveniently located next to the Winking Prawn. Look out for a team member at the car park entrance, where you'll receive a warm welcome and further instructions.
The car park is pay and display; three hours will be plenty of time if you need to park your car here.
No prior experience is necessary to participate in our paddleboard lessons. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills, our lessons cater to all levels of experience and expertise.
Whilst ages 8+ are welcome to join, they must be accompanied by an adult.

Yes, absolutely.
Paddleboarding is meant to be a relaxed water activity, and we want to keep it that way. If you need a break then there are plenty of places to jump off or sit down at any point.

All participants must be at least 8 years old. Younger participants must be competent swimmers with previous paddleboarding experience.
The BSUPA (British Stand Up Paddleboard Association) are a training and standards organisation dedicated to promoting a culture of safety within the SUP industry.
We’d love to be able to guarantee the weather, but unfortunately, we can’t. As adventure providers, we are constantly monitoring the weather conditions and sea states to deliver the most professional and safe trip possible. If it looks like the weather is against us on the day, we’ll let you know a day or two in advance. If on the day we have to cancel due to bad weather, we offer a full refund or the chance to reschedule. But hopefully, the sun will always shine!
