Our Beginner 15-Day Paragliding Camp in the spectacular setting of Iquique, Chile is designed for newcomers. This camp offers a comprehensive introduction to paragliding, under the guidance of world-class instructors.
The first five days cover the fundamentals of paragliding and build a solid foundation. Subsequent days are focused on enhancing your skills, culminating in the final five days, during which you'll fully enjoy and refine your flying abilities.

We provide the APPI level certification, recognised internationally, typically enabling you to achieve level 3, equivalent to FAI – IPPI 3 or BHPA Pilot rating. For those from countries with specific licensing requirements, we offer detailed certification of your camp activities to facilitate obtaining your local flying license. While paragliding itself is not overly physically demanding, the learning process can be intensive. It's advisable to be in good physical condition to fully enjoy and benefit from the camp’s activities. Our camps typically run during late autumn, around November and December. We aim to find a session that aligns with your enthusiasm and schedule.
Yes, they are our main coaches. However, in the rare event of absence due to injury or exceptional circumstances, we ensure a qualified replacement to maintain the high standard of training.
Fifteen days is the sweet spot for learning to paraglide. It allows enough time for acclimatization, skill development, and enjoyment, with the last few days often being the most rewarding.
Iquique offers diverse conditions suitable for all levels. Mornings and evenings are gentle, perfect for beginners, while midday provides stronger conditions for more advanced pilots. Every evening provide golden hours for everyone to enjoy. Iquique enjoys comfortable temperatures around 20 degrees Celsius, perfect for both ground and aerial activities.
You need to make a booking on this page and then you will be sent François' number to check your suitability. He will then send you a link to pay the deposit through. A deposit of 30% of the total trip cost is required to confirm the booking. The remaining balance must be paid 45 days prior to the holiday departure.
The trip cost does not cover any form of insurance, including repatriation or cancellation insurance. Clients are required to obtain repatriation insurance. We highly recommend securing cancellation insurance as well. Before registering, participants should verify their existing coverage for these risks. Participants have the option to subscribe to insurance through our partner, offering: Assistance Insurance: This covers repatriation, rescue, and search expenses and costs 2.4% of the trip's price. Cancellation Insurance: This covers trip cancellation and luggage loss, costing 3.9% of the trip's price. Purchasing both policies provides coverage for trip interruption. We can help your organise this once you book. Note: These insurance options are available only to residents of Western Europe or the French overseas departments. Your primary residence must be in one of these regions and should be the address listed on your income tax notice. Western Europe includes: United Kingdom, Germany, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, Finland, Metropolitan France, Gibraltar, Greece, Ireland, Italy and its islands, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Norway, the Netherlands, Portugal, San Marino, Sweden, and Switzerland. The French overseas departments (DOM) include Guadeloupe, Guyana, Martinique, Mayotte, and Réunion. If a client opts out of our repatriation insurance, they must provide a certificate from their own insurance detailing the maximum coverage amount for evacuation expenses.
While paragliding is our main focus, Iquique offers a range of activities to explore in your free time. It is a small city of around 200,000 people with all the amenities you would expect.
The Flight Park has a kitchen, with local markets, supermarkets, and restaurants nearby, plus options for food delivery.
Iquique airport is just a 30-minute drive from the city, with easy access to the camp.
